Gulf is hotter. I have lived in Oman and UAE too.

Imagine being sent as a prisoner there and having to do manual labor everyday and all day

That's where Lenin and Stalin sent their prisoners (and people who opposed them) They were sent to remote places in Siberia with no transportation and very little population...

It's amazing what you can put up with if you're born in the area. He asks someone in the video if they will ever move and they said no.
