this is probably SLB one of the darkest movie. the way he handled and presented this subject is commendable. not onceI felt uncomfortable...no vulgarity. some moments were heart wrenching 😞. actually I am surprised to see janta liking the movie...some liking it so much. like I said...its not a very colourful movie like some Bhansali movies.

Glad to read that the movie has yet opened up big for a female-centric movie. While I will wait for a final verdict on the movie, congratulations are indeed due for SLB, Alia and the entire team in the interim.

Most of the reviews I have come across are good to excellent. But one would know that the movie is something worth investing time and money on when one's own mother who is one of the biggest critic of Bollywood movie has a lot of good things to say about the movie and actors, especially the one playing the titular role. Besides, my mom is no fan of Alu - in fact far from it and neither is she an SLB loyalist.

Definitely watching it tomorrow (sadly have already booked tickets for Unchartered this evening, hence postponing Gangubai for tomorrow)
