Do you think Aru is in right path in building a blazing singing career? Is she adding value to her career post II12 through all YT releases & concerts?

She is doing a good number of works but whether those works are creating any value for her. Her performances in reality shows were superb and inspiring. No doubt about her capability. We are waiting for optimum utilization of her capability by any music director. HR songs seem to be okayish, not utilizing Aru's full skill in music along with the god gifted voice.

We have already duscussed about change in her voice at concerts due to orchestra arrangement not matching with Aru's strengths.

Do you think she is having limited scopes now due to her contract with Sony?

However, I believe a real talent like Aru will definitely flourish justifying her capability. Matter of time only. 😀

These are the facts:
For whatever reason she finished IL12 as 1st Runner up.
For someone who finishes in that position she has succeeded more than any predecessor.
She has managed to stay in the limelight even after 6 months of the show ending.
She is busy without even time to spend with her family.
She has managed to place herself in Mumbai and has the support of a minder/manager.
Her songs released thus far have met with some level of general acceptance. Some have done very well and some have faltered because of extraneous circumstances. Overall her performance/acceptability is good. It sets a good base for future work.
She has had no major releases in the film world. It is not unexpected. There is very little work of her kind that is going around. Also it takes a long time for anyone to establish him/herself in this industry. So it is not a failure but it sort of proves that nothing will come on a silver platter, she has to work for it to happen.

Her concerts have been mixed bags for reasons we have mentioned earlier. They will continue as long as she is not doing a solo show with melody songs as the central theme. She can yell, but her voice is not made for it. Once in a while it helps showcase her abilities but there are others who do it much much better than her on a regular basis. They can't however sing her soft songs. So the audience is the key. She has to find her audience. People like us :)

Her contract with Sony makes her do some things which are not her forte - like the kind of shows we are talking about. But it does not stop her from recording.
What she misses out on is vernacular songs in home market - and that is because she chooses to stay in Mumbai. The Bengali song industry is unable to afford the costs associated with a Mumbai based artist, especially as there are enough alternate riches at hand.

In all this, my main concern for Arunita is her lack of upskilling from age 18. Her inability to practice (riaz) regularly is also going to hurt her in the long run.

I am hoping that she gets a break in industry which will allow for new work to come in. And that will give her time to refine her skills. This can happen after Sony has finished squeezing every ounce of earnings out of the top 2 - so, sometime in July 2023,

Bold - this is my main worry also, for Arunita. Especially the latter part. Maturity part, ofcourse she has got all this fame at a very young age - and she needs good guidance (it's not at all necessary that those who love you most will be best guides - so I am not talking about her parents or anyone in particular). It will purely be her good fortune if she gets someone to guide her well.
