Did that conversation happen? If so then why did she not realise he was hurt?

If not then it looks like his misunderstanding and then it will get resolved .

Its just a misunderstanding which will get resolved. She will realise at some point she has to start prioritise him also rather than always bringing up family.

Her transformation is almost done. No question about it. The previous Akshu would never have said - Jise jo chaahe karle - to her bade papa. She would not have opened the gates to stop the cop or driven his bike to demand the cop arrest her too. But from Abhi's POV, if you look at all these...

1. She opened the gates only when the cop had been about to manhandle him

2. She defied her bade papa only when Manjari entered the picture

3. She came to the police station with Manjari behind her

So he is unable to see the transformation. He is only seeing her coming to his side / aid when pushed to the limit. That for her to choose him, there always has to be a push from behind (Manjari coming to Goenka house) or pull from his side (Abhi walking away during the Mandir scene).

Now she has to show him that she will come to him on her own without anyone prompting anything.

Thats so rightly pointed , there is a transformation in akshu but still its way to go, yes she is not impulsive like abhi but she is very clear in her thoughts.

abhi’s insecurites tbh in my opinion are justified, he had sees her rejecting him many times and solely for family , they never had any such discussions on tbese issues and now when in hopsital she said I would not have forgiven myself if anything happened to you made abhi feel that she was regretting supporting him . He is right in questioning the person he loves the most and akshu really need tonset her priorities right❤️
