Sorry just stepped out for a bit! I do think in Rebecca at least it was not that way at all - in fact, Max basically tell The Girl to leave him and prepares to go to prison when the fishing boat is dredged up after the party.
But once he tells her the truth, she's so relieved that he's 'only' killed his wife instead of still being in love with her, she herself decides she's going to save him🤣

Oh man, what a show. Aur hindi mein dekhne ka mazza hi alag hai.

Season 4 is crass so I'm not gonna watch it.

But do watch till 3 seasons and if you're watching dub, then click on Hindi because it's really good

I watched first two or three seasons in Spanish with English subs. I don't like watching dubbed. I got super bored after season 3, I have to say. Or season 2 was it. I don't even remember at this point. 😅

There are speeches that motivate you to fight for life and then there are things that just kill your will to live - no points for guessing which one Jija gave Manish🤔

Seriously? First his demented desire to marry Akshu like RIGHT NOW and his attempted unlawful entry and menacing speech about baraat and aartis stressed this old man so much he had a heart attack. And now he's telling the same old man to cling to life so he can do Akshu's kanyadaan? Wah, wah, wah... Manish basically told him he'd rather die than let his granddaughter marry Abhimanyu and that's what this guy came up with to bring him back over the brink?😆 Either he's massively stupid or he's slyly wicked.

But jokes aside, it legit made me sad and angry that Manish thought Abhimanyu was Kartik and this horrible man ran with it... Manish was a terrible character for most of S2 but there were some genuinely touching moments between him and Kartik like the drunken 'papa kehte hain' during Kartik's bachelor party and then his comforting Kartik after his child dies to name a few. To think even his son's memory is being usurped by Abhimanyu who has already snatched the right to call him Bade Papa without earning it😡

Also guys if Abhimanyu is now Manish's beta, isn't he...er...Akshu's father?😳 I mean how is this gonna play out... with the age difference and all🤣

As for the actual 'surgery', what to say? It might have worked better as a ketchup and cutlery ad than a serious surgery scene🤣
