I think the fact that she is not a doctor put downgrade her in Mahima's eyes. She even dislikes Parth for getting a doctor degree but not practicing. Then how much more will she dislike Anisha for not being a doctor and maybe she did not even pass the medical entrance exam.

I am a law graduate, and by god's grace I had got a pretty high rank in the entrance so in my class, I had all of these kids of judges, IFS officers and Senior lawyers.

Also, on the very first day of college we were given a page where we had to write contact details of any connections that we have in the legal fraternity and then these kids were favoured for various events over those like me who didnt have any connections.

I kind of understand this mentality.

It’s not a secret that connection can bring you far faster than many other things. And it seems all Anand and Mahima want in life is their children to become a doctor and inherit whatever they have built. When their own children failed to do this then they only have Abhi to put their hope on. And Harsh despite being a successful businessman and had come so far still come short in their eyes because he is only a PhD doctor as Mahima often remind Harsh, and it’s obvious she’s saying this as looking down on her. And Mahima had also scolded Parth for not wanting to practice the degree he earned. Then how much more does she hate Anisha, who is not a doctor and perhaps not good enough to even get the degree.

A lot of people talk about connection and nepotism and yes, they help a lot and can bring a person far fast. However, at the end of the day if that person is totally useless then he or she will not go far anyways. A lot of people failed despite having rich well connected parents.

Absolutely. I make my permanent salary out of working on cases of such colleague who has well connected father, has a degree in law but doesnt know the practice.
