Dark Edgy Complex Movies

Some people are calling Gehraiyaan as a "Dark edgy complex" movie, do you agree? If not what other movies qualify for this category?

Dev.D is the only movie that comes to my mind immediately when I think of an original dark and edgy hindi movie. It took the melodramatic Devdas and turned it into a modern tale with realistic characters.

Yup DevD was one.. I think 7 khoon maaf also qualifies for this category. Miles ahead of Gehraiyaan😆
