I’m also tracking the Shiv- Sati-Parvati parallel since you ( and others ) bring it up so often.

Abhi calling Akshu “ Annapurna” is also a reference to Parvati.

So if we are taking this Shiva purana a step further, Abhi should technically be called “Neel” ( Neelkant) after Lord Shiva.

A boy named Neel was adopted by the Birlas and his childhood picture is on Abhi’s desk.

I actually don’t know much about Shiv Parvati as that’s not what I grew up with but I find it very fascinating.

what Pooja says is interesting but going by the way Akshu’s character is written, I don’t see her going for a secret marriage. After the heart attack track, i feel she will try to break things off with Abhi but I like the sound of Pooja’s theory better and more interesting

Beautiful connection about Neel. it is said that at Neelkanth, Shiv consumed poison in order to get Amrit. This poison might be the truth of the adoption (whatever it is) that Abhi will consume in order to save his family in some way. But after this happened, Parvati convinced Shiv to go back to Kailash, as he wanted to give it all up for the greater good. Here, again, we might see Abhi and Akshu leaving the Birlas after marriage, but Akshu will help him make amends with his family. Again, this is all if the makers continue on this path of mythological parallels.

I think the confusion about adoption is cleared by someone in the forum. They said they have zoomed it and it’s Neel. And he is the illegitimate kid of Harsh and that will come out and when that comes out BP May break off the marriage saying how shameless this family is!! That time may be Abhi will be supported by Akshu.

I don't think she will back off this time. I think she is past the point where she will sacrifice Abhi for her family...no matter the circumstances. If anything, maybe Abhi might try to back off in guilt, but she won't let him.... anyways, let's see what they show

So Naira’s cousin Kuhu was an illegitimate child. Her Mamu cheated on his wife and had her and there was a whole acceptance track. Then Naira’s cousin Yash married Rose who was also an illegitimate kid and again the whole track regarding that with Akshara Senior giving lectures so these topics have been covered before.

But it will be interesting to see how the Birlas and Goenkas will reach because Singhanaias and Maheshwaris were far more understanding then these two families.
