Miles separated them. They had never been apart from each other before in their lives. Miles, could separate them, but their thoughts were united.

He missed her, cried throughout the journey that was taking him far, far away.

He hated the place, he would have hated any place that was bereft of her presence. The place was new, the language was new, the school was new. He did not like to play with other children, he did not like to even talk with other children.

Life was meaningless, however there was this one place, he loved visiting. His parents were happy to oblige and often took him there. This was probably one of the beautiful places in the world. Everything was calm and quite and clean.

There were no toys or other playthings, but he loved coming here. He loved sitting on the warm sun kissed beach staring out into the deep blue sea, thinking of her, thinking of the last time, they stood toe to toe, her arms around her neck, and his around her waist and the tip of his nose brushing her soft lips.

He is beginning to like this city, the city of dreams. He always wanted to become an actor. He is going to become this famous actor, search her and marry her, but first, first, first he must learn some local language. 😆
