"I can't say no for my answers, OK?" - the latest gem of English from Abhilasha. If the actress isn't fluent in English, the director should make sure the script is correct, and that she's coached!

What is the show trying to do with this character? She just assaulted Vivek with her glass of water. He could sue the company for that, or even have her arrested, but suppose he just finds another job and quietly quits, it's still her loss! M. K. talked about Abhilasha as if she's driven to succeed, but even a half-decent businesswoman wouldn't waste her time with such counterproductive stunts.

The mall has been under construction for months, and Abhilasha's task is to wrap up existing projects and get out of this village. Why is she suddenly worried that the mall only has 2 acres and it's next to farmland? The sizes of two malls in Nashik are 21 acres and 7 acres, so why does Abhilasha want to build on another 36 acres in Makhmalabad?

How can Abhilasha make plans to buy land without even consulting the investors? M. K. Construction was given this project by investors, right? The investors were considering Daulat Con_truction's bid as well. The investors own the land, and the construction company only performs a service of building on that land, right? Yet Abhya said to Vikya that Ābā stole land over the years with the intention to build a mall.

Can someone who understands construction better than I do make sense of this?

Does Abhilasha have a place to stay yet? A psychiatric ward might be most appropriate, given her paranoid accusations of embezzlement, irrational budgeting, and Dunning-Kruger self-assessment. ("Malā goṣṭī disatāta. ... Āpalyākaḍe khūpa funds āheta. ... Relations kase japāyace nā te malā cāṅgalaṃ māhītīya.") However, the way she threw that cup of coffee, she would fit right in at the Nimbalkar house. Maybe if she grows some sideburns, Ābā can fantasize that she's Bhanupriya.

Sorry for the idle thoughts. I got bored watching Kalpya and Mukya trying to murder Latika with an object that moves more slowly than her motorcycle.

Abhimanyu quitting his job and Latika being fired at the same time might make a nice parallel, but the way it was portrayed was rather silly.

First of all, when Daulat was evicted from the Jahagirdar house, he told Latika that she was fired and she replied that she quits. There was no further talk of Latika's resignation, so I guess the writers changed their minds.

Ābā has tried to fire Latika at least twice, right? The first time, Sajjan alerted the news media, and the second time, Abhimanyu found the missing money in a public trash can. So, before Latika gave her speech to the farmers, wouldn't she have thought that it could jeopardize her job? Wouldn't she have made a plan to get Ābā in trouble if he tried to fire her?

I accept that Latika and Abhimanyu are so good at their work that everyone who works with them (except Shahane Madam) admires them instead of feeling overworked, unfavourably compared, ignored, insecure, envious etc. It's fiction. But how can everyone be ready to quit their jobs on the spot in solidarity? Don't they have to talk to their spouses or families first?

They could be creative and take any other job action to put pressure on the boss: no new materials will be ordered, or only every other section of pipe will be laid, so that construction will grind to a halt in a few days if Abhilasha doesn't mend her ways; fixed deposits will be offered to customers only one day a week, and all payments towards loans will be held in escrow, so that the bank won't be able to lend money until Latika is back at work.

But no, the workers' first idea, at both the site and the bank, is to walk off the job without notice, in breach of contract. Latika convinces the bank staff to keep quiet, while Abhilasha offers everyone at the site a raise, but they rebuff her. (Where does she get so much money?) At the mention of M. K.'s name, they get emotional, and suddenly they're willing to stay if their conditions are met. They haven't discussed their conditions amongst themselves; everyone just trusts Abhimanyu to improvise. If the writers wanted us to feel invested in the drama, they could have started with the workers' demands, shown the negotiations breaking down, proceeded to job action, and given the we-all-quit-in-two-weeks ultimatum for a climax.

I suspect that the dispute over mistreatment is just an excuse for Abhilasha to become infatuated with Abhimanyu - the gallant labour leader who saved her from ruin.

Please don't let me hear Abhya calling Lati "Partner!" again. "E Sundarā!" should be his signature greeting.

The background music to show Abhilasha's attraction to Abhimanyu is grating. Did we really need another character to take that sort of interest in Abhya at this point?

Kamini's hopeless obsession lasted well over a year, and she's still involved as an off-screen character. I thought the story moved well when Nandini pretended to be interested in Abhya, and it affected Bāpū and Daulat, but just as Nandini headed out, she shook hands with Abhilasha. Ābā and Mukya ogling Bhanupriya is still fresh in my memory. Too many characters looking at Abhya that way!

Please, writers, give us a break from the same old, same old! We waited so long for Abhya and Lati to be a couple. Let's see different facets of their relationship, and let the antagonists do something other than trying to break them up.

How could Appā say that Latika doesn't know where their farmland is? How can this be her first visit to the farm?

Latika has spent her entire life in the village; she lived next door to the Jahagirdar family until she married into it. Appā is proud of his land; how can we believe that he never invited the Dhumal family to view his fields? Wouldn't such a religious family perform a pūjā before ploughing, every year?

Dialogue writers have a difficult job. I appreciate that they take an episode outline and fill it in, every day, on schedule. I can understand that sometimes the phrases will be repetitive or insipid, or continuity will be forgotten. However, I think this is the sort of mistake that everyone should have caught before the actor was allowed to speak the lines.

I felt sorry for Appā when he said that Abhimanyu would sell the land. It will hurt him terribly when he finds out that Abhimanyu wants him to give up his occupation and move to Mumbai. Work is helping Appā and Ashutosh to recover from Indumati's death, and Abhimanyu hasn't shared any ideas for what these two would do all day in Mumbai.

Who knows what the writers want to accomplish through Abhilasha seeking an alliance with Sarjerav. It's so farfetched that she would consider this. She must know that Ābā is a longtime rival of M. K.; Ābā wanted the mall project to start his own construction company; Ābā had Nandini kidnapped, forced her to marry Daulat, and was planning her rape and impregnation ... and setting all of that aside, how can she consider buying land when its ownership is contested?

I liked that Abhilasha brought detailed ideas to Abhimanyu: second homes for rich urbanites, rainwater harvesting, wastewater recycling, solar energy, organic farming ... Instead of hating the township project outright, the audience can think about whether these initiatives or Appā's values, keeping farmland for farming, are best for the village.

Usually, daily dramas take such a simplistic approach to environmental issues: the outsider, imports/exports, automation, and chemicals are all lumped together as an evil craze, the poisonous effects become manifest within a week, the natives repent and go back to manure and manual labour, and the moral is that you shouldn't listen to new ideas.

A conflict between Abhimanyu and Appā over the best use of land could have been a good storyline. However, at this point, with Abhimanyu wanting to wrap up the academy and mall projects and get out of the village, it doesn't make sense that he's willing to build a township.

I liked Appā's and Ashutosh's idea that Latika could continue her education and obtain a government job. Months ago, Bāpū said that Latika could have become a Collector, but he stood in her way. I hope that we can have a story about Latika's ambition and not another threat to her marriage.

So, Abhilasha is lying about what the township will bring. She mentioned streets and lights - is she going to turn the village into a noisy tourist attraction?

I thought Abhimanyu was already the chief engineer on the site, but they acted as if she gave him a promotion.

The show keeps hinting at new developments, but I am finding the story progress too slow.

For example, everyone is saying that Sarjerav needs to lose his seat as MLA, but there won't be an election for years ... so, what is your plan? Maharashtra has no recall process for an MLA, right? Then Sarjerav can only be forced out by his own party, the leader of which is Aṇṇā. Yet, no one is talking about how to bring their demands to Aṇṇā.

The show acknowledged that Daulat's offences are non-bailable, yet he was granted bail. Not only is that nonsensical, it's judicial misconduct by definition, isn't it? There should be an immediate appeal. Instead, Latika and Abhimanyu are acting reassured that if Daulat misbehaves (e.g. menaces Vivek with a sword to the throat), he will be arrested again. They didn't bother with an FIR while Daulat was in jail, but now, if they can just instigate him to commit one more crime and catch him on video, they're sure law enforcement will take it more seriously than the existing charges of murder and kidnapping and attempted rape.

Kalpya and Mukya were never bright, but they know whose scraps they eat. I cannot suspend disbelief that with Abhimanyu so blatantly drawing them into a fight so that Taramati could chat with Latika, these two agreed to the enemy's suggestion to lie to Sarjerav about his wife's betrayal.

Taramati offered this gem: if she feels endangered, she'll leave the house. Maybe if she had trained in mahilā-sabalīkaraṇa, she would grasp the concept of "too late," or it just might be common sense. On the other hand, Abhimanyu and Latika know that Taramati's phone has been taken away, but their idea of checking on her safety is to call that phone.

I understand that the show tries to be dramatic, and it would be unrealistic to have Daulat tried and convicted within the next year. The fight at Daulat's wedding should have been the climax, and new antagonists should have been put in place in anticipation that Daulat and Sarjerav would go off-screen. We could watch the story of Latika learning what an MLA does, so that she can be successful against Sarjerav's replacement in a few years.
