You see Neil had no monologues for Sai why his was drawing towards him..That alta scene is more romantic in here then in the original.. I watched both version to an extent.. Like in GC he had played up with body language..He looked overjoyed whenever he was with Sai despite in love with Pakhi according to him..There was no awkwardness getting close to Sai.. He indeed has made Rono work for Hindi audience.. He brought some small aspects for his character..

But having said that it's the director vision how he wants to see a character.. The present director seems to be mixing up original and the remake.. 🤢

Rishi and Sudhanshu both are seniors artist.. Could be that they understand their character arc because of experience.. But rishi certainly is below par.. There are other better actors on Bengali..

Gul had to turn Aditya a*hole to break the Jodi.. Because that actor already resigned to do other projects.. Talks were going on for over months..So she turned him an idiot to create separate Jodi for imli.. It was necessary to tweak. But still gashmeer did better job bringing that angst and pain..

I agree. But Ronno had too many monologues initially only why he's getting drawn towards Imon. They didn't show all that for Virat idk why except that scene in their first night he tucked her hair strand behind her ear to show he's getting attracted to her. Actually they started bit slow initially the process of Virat falling for Sai whereas in KD it was fast paced initially but they slowed down whereas Virat progression has been better ever since that college admission episode. His urge to get intimate with Sai etc. were better than KD.

Maybe Neil's weak, subdued expressions in this track is what he has been asked to portray - as a depressed, devastated man (due to being misunderstood) - just a guess.....because it's been consistently like that throughout. Why this is continued even in today's high octane scenes is anybody's guess. But it is very much possible that's the brief given to him. Although I don't understand why they are trying to show him like that in the grand scheme of things - should mean something if true. In any case, looks like writers have bitten off more than they can chew. Forgetting our personal likes/dislikes, it is not even clear to the audience what the writers have in mind for the character as well as the plot. You need lot of stuff to write complex human behaviour.....in case they are planning something like that.....it's super difficult.

Coming to acting, these are small-screen actors with their own limitations. No one is Oscar worthy actor/actress that they can be given some confusing brief and left to fend for themselves.... creatives, directors must be clear about their vision, convey that to the actor and give ample support through mentoring and ofcourse good dialogues.....else leave the actors alone to interpret it the way they want.

All this is just a guess. Don't know what's happening.

and it is the their job to add more dialogues if the love is not coming out convincingly..

they have put dialogues like apne chhod dete hai .. all these are the selfish jerk Rono dialogues which Rono had given after courtroom drama .. I am expecting virat to be high handed with Sai ..

Exactly my point .. it is unfair to blame the actor .. the character brief for the last 2-3 months is very much anti virat .. without being outrightly negative lije vanraj .. it is similar to what aditya was showing in tamarind..

And they have not given positive dialogues at all even in this situation.. Things like showing more concern to his wife .. and being formal with shruti .. it was quite opposite over here ..

And they showed Sai observing both again n again .. Sai is not that dense .. there is something else cooking over here ..They are tv actors working in a fast speed .. that said they should work better .. the direction n dialog writing is very bad considering they already have the full kusum dola script before them in video abd hotstar

Arree that's why I'm saying Neil can do better job without any support of monologaes..I have given credit to him where he has the capability to do better .😆

That's why I mentioned about gc. 😛Neil was too good over there.

I don't understand what's writers are planning.. As someone mentioned to etch complex emotions of human.. But normal human also do have common sense.. They won't put their loved ones life at risk for so called vada. Looks like Ghum makers smoke weeds 😆

True. Virat had been shown much more worried for Sai in normal circumstances why now this is beyond me.

And regarding the storyline I tried understanding maybe Virat didn't want Sruthi there as all his efforts to save her all these days would go on vain if it doesn't end on good note at last & he's unsure of what Sada would do to her in fit of rage. Sruthi was completely unneeded in the episode today. And I guess he didn't want Sruthi there as he'll get responsible to save two of Sai & Sruthi, he didn't want to take the pressure of saving two simultaneously, he'll have more load on his head, things might have gotten difficult for him so told her to stay away from this. Maybe just maybe.

PS - as y'all know I don't like Virat at all but tried understanding. I don't think he feels anything for Sruthi that way at all, he snubbed her feelings for him & wasn't considerate of it at all. He likes playing being mahaan and saviour of humankind. But makers are again doing the mistake of mixing up Ronno & Virat. They're merging them together that's why it's coming across weird confusing ambiguous.

What are you talking .. Rono was wooden .. but in his flirty scenes he was way better than virat .. ..

The close encounters between Rono emon is far far more romantic than the ones between Sai n virat ..

Even in the anniversary honeymoon scene .. when he tells her a ghost story ..

Then in the hospital scenes .. when emon is giving him sponge bath .. they both were flirty with each other .. their vibes were always man woman ..

over here my problem is they only show friendly vibes .. the man woman Wala attraction hasn’t been reached

The Ph care for trp otherwise this track which they planned for 6 months won't be packed up within one month....they sensed trp drop from sai leaving CN track.. they even made virat to get slapped to cover up fl absence and maintain trp...once fl is back..there was personal commitment for ml....but even for one episode his absence was not felt onscreen...edited out unnecessary drama even though it resulted in abrupt scenes...dream sequences to reduce bashing...entire viruthi cringe in super fast mode and finally an action sequence with much better direction to get audience back....looking upon bts sada shruthi actors have finished their roles...

Since even maker's didn't have an idea where entire track will end...NB can't be fully blamed here...and now they are planning to gain some sympathy for virat by putting his life at stake...sada was made as a heartless man towards Sai to gain sympathy for virat ...same happened with shruthi... they wanted the audience to question her motherhood to reduce backlash on virat and trp audience will melt on tomorrow's episode when he choose sai over his life

And Sai saying ily to Virat in that situation. That was too bizzare. Would Virat be even in that frame of mind to register it? Such careless writing.

Ronno was wooden. I didn't understand his expressions at all in those initial episodes. Virat had been more expressive. I'm not sure if they had that aalta scene.

In anniversary track they were about to kiss eo too in full sense but Sai backed off. Tbh only in this track I couldn't feel Virat's love for Sai unlike previous tracks. Like even in ousting track Virat got lost in between for a moment seeing the bangles in Sai's hand then in his room he was missing her, looking at things after throwing her out but makers & actor failed badly in this track.

In today's episode at one moment you see love for Sai in his eyes next moment you don't see it. They should've given him much better & more dialogues about Sai. & Why he's being all soft with Sada is something I still don't get it.
