if Pak players were available options we had were - Shadab Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Mohd Rizwan, Shoaib Malik, Shaheen, Ashraf, Babar -> easy picks for most of the sides & guys like Shaheen & Shadab would've got automatic entry into the 4 selected overseas players slots.

Pak players can't be part for obvious reasons and I can't say it is wrong too.

But I agree ki overseas wala should be 5, as many big players don't get a chance due to 4 wala restriction.

greed makes you do stupid things 🤡 He was bad last season, hasn't been good for couple of years & he always struggled with short pitch bowling. Rayudu going for above 5 crores make no sense at all, he's past his prime 🤪

They are still nice players and are being consistent and also have been part of National team in recent time.

I think Finch may be due to unavailability issues, as he's the white ball captain for Australia or the tight purse, he didn't do anything exceptional in the last yr or 2. Steve Smith is more surprising for me, he led Pune to finals in one of the 2 yrs they played, mindboggling even Marcus Labuschagne not picked puzzled me

CSK gave Raina a lot chances

Raina hasn't been performing from 2019 and in 2020 he did controversey with the management and left the team when they needed him the most as players were suffering from Covid and big Overseas player didn't came and in 2021 he didn't performed in even a single match still MS made him play for the whole season in playing 11.

I don't agree about Rayudu

Rayudu deserves it

He has been doing what Raina used to do for CSK

He accelerates the runs in middle and have been consistent from the time he has came to CSK in 2018.

He always contributes those 30-40 runs in middle which mostly people doesn't see but makes a huge difference in the match.
