I really hope Sai asks V if a vaaada to a criminal is more important than her, their marriage. If you disregard that his actions are illegal and even aay its just insaniyat, it makes no sense to hurt his wife for all this. He couldn't have told her full truth- ok, did he explain properly. NO! He simply said sahi wakt sahi wakt. And his behavior was unacceptable. Instead of placating everyone he showed arrogance. His words and actions only made everyone feel more n more that hes having an affair. I understand Sai feels guilty because thats the kind of person she is and has been made after her bashing by V and Chavvanis since she is living with them repeatedly- she will feel bad that she did not manage to get the truth out of him and to some degree understandably as a wife it hurts her less to know he didn't cheat on her but was helping this woman because she was his friends wife n he was guilty of killing his friend. Thankfully she did realize his actions be ARE illegal. Its a testament to Sai's character and personality also that she understood that an affair isnt feasible if Shruti is Sadas wife even when told they were hugging each other. Until she didn't know that Shruti was Sadas wife, she believed he had a relationship with Shruti as HIS wife. She knows Virat would not "physically" cheat with an already married woman although it is possible for him to get emotionally close. Like he did with pp. And repeated with Shruti. Shruti is utterly despicable imo but Virat did lead her on. Enough that not only is she claiming to be in love but had the audacity to say that out loud to him.
Sai only reacted based on facts in front of her. i wonder if the audience members who justify Virat would be able to accept it if their spouse hid things from them and called another woman their wife or signed on a birth certificate officially as some kids father- all without their knowledge. Intentions kitnee bhi pure ho, his acts are absolutely irredeemable and it is amazing to me to watch this behavior be defended by makers in their narrative and by members of the audience. Theres one thing to have a different perspective but to see people out there justifying wrong as right is just amazing.

It can be still okay but sharing same house together isn't something can be justified ever doesn't matter if they didn't have anything behind the doors but to whole society that's how it'd look.
If Virat were told about Sai hugging another man I'm sure he'd believe it. Here Sai isn't despite whatever she's fed about Sruti & Virat thing.
Even if they are merely coinhabiting , society still will call Sai as the "chhodi" hui aurat n Shruti as mistress. Thats just the sad and terrible way indian mentality is. Yes, we cant stop living life because of what people say but one needs to be cognizant that we dont go overboard in our actions..but Virat had every opportunity to call Shruti his sister instead of wife saying shes widowed, put her in witness protection, even say that she's under police protection n he is her guardian, not husband. He could live in a separate house as he originally planned since money seems to be growing on trees for him. He could have arranged a maid to care for shruti as he originally wanted since finance isnt an issue. But he didn't do any of these things.
