Kane Williamson will be the first option for SRH in their IPL 2022 players retention. If SRH decides to build a strong bowling unit with Indian players then Natarajan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the best options.

As far SRH is concerned their first retainment will be their skipper Kane Williamson, while they could not leave Rashid Khan on the other hand there might be a hard bargain between the two parties.

Rashid Khan is unlikely to be retained by SRH as the Afghan spinner is not willing to be SRH’s second retained player ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction. Notably, the difference between the two positions is INR 4 crore.
