Salim Merchant speaks about the upcoming song with Pawandeep, and about Pawandeep. He says the song is called Jai Ho Bhole.
It appears as if some scolding or at least some discussion was going on...

Yes. She was saying something about ladki ko something….I didn’t quite understand. The convo is there in the original video on YouTube.
Aru is being cautious and then she gave a hug to Jyotideep who was sitting on the other side.
I felt bad for Aru that she had to change her outfit during the ceremony even though she looked the most comfortable one there 😀
Her lehenga was too long for her or was rather not well fitted. If she was just cold she could have worn the sweater or jacket on top of the lehenga.
Pawan’s family looks very accepting.

By and large, you are right, over the course of the two days it did appear like a "fish to water" situation overall - all-round acceptance and camaraderie. This one was a little jarring note. Perhaps the Panditji asked her to do something that she is not supposed to do as she is not a member of the family (which the Panditji wouldn't have known), and PD's mom was pointing that out. From this clip it does look like Arunita became apprehensive after that conversation, and Jyotideep said / did something to comfort her - and that's why the hug. But at the same time, this seems edited because there are some jumps.
I will look for the original video and see if I can catch it - but there was a lot of noise and jostling so difficult to catch conversations.
I agree, it was a little sad that she had to change the dress right before the main photo session with the newlyweds - but the body language of everyone during that photo session was very pleasing to the eye.
To add, there were also small moments when Arunita was helping Chandni with her head decor, her jewellery straightening, arranging her lahenga. Very naturally as one friend would do for another. No element of being a stranger to the party.
In this video I could hear PD saying "aa jaao, yahaan pe aa jaao" but not the conversation with his mom. Will look for other sources.

So here in this video, at 1:32 PD's mom actually tells Arunita "le tu pakad le" when the Panditji hands over that ceremonial offering. So at least it is not that she was unhappy or angry about Aurunita taking that from the Panditji.
Later from 2:15 onwards Jyotideep is not in her place but standing nearby and she is talking with Arunita who seems to be kneeling rather than sitting down (judging from the position of her head relative to others). At this time OD's mom is talking about either Jyoti or Arunita when she says "rasam mein baithna chahiye..." and some more things which are not clearly audible. Note that rasam here means rituals, not the rasam that is the South Indian food :). Then PD, Chandni and PD's dad all seem to be touching her arm and asking her to chill.
So all in all it appears more to be a case of so much acceptance as to be comfortable enough to point out what to do in rituals, how to sit, etc. rather than being angry about something.
And the most important thing in these last 5 weeks is that Arunita's parents have been comfortable enough to let her first go on a holiday in Uttarakhand followed by this wedding - where even they would have expected that she will be the star attraction rather than an anonymous guest.
Sometimes I wonder... Will I be able to let go the way they have? It takes tremendous courage on parents' behalf. And tremendous trust on the boy, his family and his circle of friends.
Another beautiful poem by the Pakistani fan of PD
