I am home yaar Mom watches sony shows..mostly Deepika and Ram Priya..She updated me then I remembered Disha watches it... toh dekh liye baith kar... Just thought will get the dead thread alive..

Leena should sue the makers. These guys have romanticized Virat and SaiRat beyond acceptable limits. Leena's vision was different.

Rono-Emon relationship; for that matter Rono himself was different. It was real but never romanticiced. People like Rono do exist. Somebody I know is genuinely generous, honest , helpful towards & strangers but keeps a mistress. There may even be men who are better than Rono but who act unacceptably under generations of patriarchal conditioning. But Virat is uncomfortable in the way he has been presented - he is a template for manipulative men to use on gullible young women.

People (both men & women) do forgive their partners for their wrongs, even stay with covert narcissists due to emotions - but there is nothing romantic about it.

Couldn't agree more Asmi. Young audience get easily influenced by these shows.

When we used to watch Anupama(during divorce track where Anu decides to stay back at het inlaws house), my 10 yo cousin thought that it was absolutely normal. I was telling that Anu is being unnecessarily soft and all, and she was like isme itna ajeeb kya hai 🤦‍♀️. After that both of our families stopped watching it, pata nahi woh chotu aur kin kin cheezo ko normal samajne lagegi🤦‍♀️
