I started this story with an idea to complete in 3 parts. Now I am updating the 25 part, which I never thought of. This is my first ever story. Thank you all for the support. If you feel bored please do tell me, I will wrap it up soon.

Part 25:

Ram sat on his chair and asked vedika to sit.
Vedika: Ram
Ram: ek minute vedika, Priya forgot her phone here. I will return it to her and will be back in a minute.
Vedika looked at him in anger, he can easily ask someone to go and give but he is doing such a menial job for his wife.

Ram went out taking Priya's phone in his hand. The gang was waiting near the car for adi. That's when Priya realised keeping her phone in the table.
Priya: bri I forgot my phone in the table. I will go and get it.
Bri: Wait I will ask adi to get.
Adi: what you want me to get?
Bri: you came.
Priya: It's ok, I will go and get it.

Priya started walking towards Ram's office while Ram was coming for Priya. Both met near elevator.
Priya: Mr. Kapoor.
Ram: Priya your phone.
Priya: Thank you. I was coming to get this. Is everything alright?
Ram: I still didn't get to talk with her so don't what is her problem. But she did looked little anxious.
Priya: she may feel better after sharing it with someone. Leave that now tell me what do you want for dinner?
Ram: you look tired Priya, I will ask adi to order from outside. You can cook someother day.
Priya: it's ok. I'm fine. Just had few extra classes today.
Ram: why don't you take rest Priya? I will talk to them.
Priya: I don't know why but I feel like they are angry with you for not coming with them.
Ram: yeah, their plan got spoiled because of me.
Priya: Nobody is responsible for this. Helping someone in need is more important. So finish your work and come fast. I will go now.
Ram: Even I want to come with you all.
Priya: I know, we will be waiting for you. So come fast.
Ram: see you soon biwi.
Priya: bye.
Ram:bye

Priya went to their friends who were waiting for her impatiently. Ram went to his cabin to speak to vedika.
Ram: sorry vedika, Now tell me what you want to talk.
Vedika: Ram you never asked whether I want anything to have.
Ram: I'm really sorry, it's just skipped my mind. Tell me what would you like to have?
Vedika: how about we go to a nice restaurant Ram? We can eat and talk. I think you also will be famished by now.
Ram was thinking of ways to say no as all he want was to spend some time with his family. That's when his assistant came inside.
Ram: yeah,
Assistant: sir, you have an appointment with CMO in 20 minutes. It got fixed suddenly due to some emergency sir. Sorry to inform you lately.
Ram: No problem,Thanks.
His Assistant nodded and went out. While Ram turned to vedika little apologetically.
Ram: Sorry vedika, emergency meeting. I will be late for the meeting if we went for restaurant. So we can talk here. No one will disturb.
Vedika: I understand Ram, work is more important.
Vedika was getting angry at Ram for his indifference towards her. The ram she know will cancel everything for her. He will be the one who will ask her out while she will be refusing.
Ram: thanks for understanding, now tell me what you want to say?
Vedika: woh
Ram: tell me vedika
Vedika: woh Ram it's about shashi.
Vedika expected Ram to say something but he kept looking at her silently. While vedika took her sweet time to say utter every word.
Vedika: shashi is behaving very oddly with me for the past few days.
Ram: oddly?
Vedika: yeah I feel like he is hiding something from me. He is not sharing everything with me.
Ram: you should speak to him.
Vedika: I don't know what to do Ram, I'm tired of trying to make him speak to me. It looks like he doesn't care for me anymore.
Ram: vedika you should first take some time to gather your thoughts, relax and talk to your husband with an open mind. Try to understand him. Give him some space.

Their talk was interrupted by the ringing of intercom.
Assistant: sir CMO is waiting for you.
Ram: 2 mins.
Assistant: yes sir.
Ram: share your thoughts with him. Then everything will fall into its place.
Vedika: Thanks Ram, your words makes more sense.
Ram smiled at her and got up from his seat indirectly saying that he is done with this topic. Vedika was clearly shocked seeing the Changes in him. Vedika also got up to leave confused with his attitude towards her.
Vedika: Thanks Ram, for listening out.
Ram: you are welcome and vedika one small advice.
Vedika: yeah tell me Ram.
Ram: Don't ever involve a third person into your marital problems. Try to sort it out as a husband and wife.
Vedika: you are not a third person Ram.
Ram: everyone other than you and Shashi is a third person here vedika. Try to understand that. Take care.
Ram called his assistant asking her to send the person in.
Vedika: bye Ram
Ram: bye.
Ram said bye to vedika and sat looking into his phone with a frown as there was no call or message from his wife. Vedika went out with her wayward thoughts.

Next 15 mins Ram spent his time with CMO discussing some matters and signed the papers. When CMO was about to move out, Ram stopped him.
Ram: This was not a matter of urgency and this clearly don't need my supervison. Then what was the need to arrange this emergency meeting.
CMO: Sir, I was told by Adi sir to conduct this meeting immediately, as it is very important for you. Even I said it was not needed but he just asked me to follow the instructions without any questions.
Hearing adi's name, Ram smiled. As he know adi would have done this, so that he can return home soon at the same time to avoid going out with vedika. His friends near ceases to amaze him. He smiled thinking how protective they are for Priya on seeing vedika.
Ram: thank you. You may go.

Ram completed all his work and returned to his home, to find none in the living room or in his room.
Ram thought,' did they went somewhere leaving me'. He thought to check in the kitchen to see whether Priya is there or not. So he started walking towards the kitchen.

And his jaw dropped to floor on entering the kitchen. He never in dreams thought he will get to witness this sight.
Priya is standing and cooking, while brindha sat on the kitchen counter munching something and continuously stirring something in the pot along with giving instructions to adi and vik. Adi and vik are sitting on the floor trying to make roti dough but it looks like they are playing in the atta.
They had atta all over their face and shirts. Shubu sitting on the floor opposite to adi and vik with one leg folded and another leg stretched trying to peel the boiled potatos with atmost concentration. He never saw him working with such a sincerity. When he completed peeling one potato he showed it to his bhabhi for her approval who was giving thumbs up to him without even looking at it with the sweet smile on her face.
Last but not least Kunal cutting veggies, he saw Kunal asking Priya in which size he should cut it. Priya went to him showed the size by slicing. After two-three slices Kunal got the knife back from his bhabhi saying he understood. Priya went back to cooking. He can't help the smile erupted from his mouth when he saw Kunal cutting the veggi by measuring accurately the slice made by Priya keeping it as sample.

Adi sat tiredly with his back against the kitchen counter with legs stretched.
Adi: Kunal throw that carrot to me. I'm tired.
Kunal threw the carrot that he was cutting to him, while adi started munching it. Soon it was plucked from him by vik who started munching the same. Bri threw a apple to shubu who ate it tiredly. Kunal plucked the apple from shubu and sliced the other side of the apple for him for eating before returning it to shubu.

Ram looked at them amazed, he was standing at doorstep for more than 15 mins now but no one saw him. They were busy in their own world.
They looked all sweet and cute to him. He can't help but slightly curse vedika for ruining his moments. If she didn't come, the He would have been among them cherishing these moments but now he felt like an outsider.
He stepped inside the kitchen and cleared his throat to gain attention.
Priya: Mr. Kapoor
Ram smiled at her, while all the others continued their work like they haven't seen him. Ram pouted seeing them ganging up against him. Priya saw that and smiled.
Priya: Mr. Kapoor come on, you too help me. Taste this curry and tell me how is it.
Ram went near Priya to taste it with happy smile in his face due to his wife's effort to include him, he tasted it and said need some salt.
Priya: but it is perfect for me.
Ram: No, you should add some salt to make it perfect.
Priya: No then it will become salty.
Bri: Priya you can never beat Ram in tasting. He has excellent working taste buds.
Ram: see my Jaan knows me very well.
Bri: I'm not taking to you.
Ram: Jaan please nah, I will not repeat this.
Priya: bri, we will forgive him this one time.
Bri: just for Priya, this is the last time.
Ok guys, we are lifting the ban on Ram.

The next second all the remaining four started calling him to them for his help. He looked at them shocked.
Ram: you guys really ganged up against me. Just a moment before, you all worked like you have never seen me. Now you are asking my help. Only My wife cares for me.

Ram put his arm around Priya and said I will help only my wife, you all can go to hell which made Priya to slightly blush and she shrugged his hands as she felt shy.
When Ram completed the word hell, adi threw some handfull of atta at him, Kunal threw a carrot, vik poured half glass of water at him while shubhu threw handful of peeled waste potato skin at him, everything hitting at random places in Ram's body as they were sitting down which made brindha to laugh while Priya looked at all in shock.

Ram: what the hell
Vik: we are just taking you to hell along with us.
Vik smirked at him,
Ram: I will not leave you.
Ram swiftly took the jug of water that was near him and emptied it on vik which made adi to laugh out loud, before adi can understand vik and ram emptied the whole atta on Adi's head who stood up shocked. Adi looked at Ram and vik for a second before he went and hugged both of them transferring some atta to them. They trio stood there like a clown. They turned and saw Kunal, shubu laughing rolling on the floor clutching their stomach. Ram took the eggs while vik took a can of juice. Ram threw the eggs at Kunal while vik emptied the whole can of juice upon shubu. Both Kunal and shubu was on their feet the next second.
Kunal: I'm smelling like a garbage. I will not leave you.
Kunal started chasing Ram while shubu chased vik. Ram and vik used adi as their shield for some time, soon all the five started running around the kitchen like kids.

Nandhini who came there hearing the commotion was shocked seeing their state.
Nandhini: Bas Karo yeh sab.
Hearing the loud voice of nandhini, everyone stood still in their place while brindha got down from the kitchen counter and stood silently near Priya.
Nandhini: what the hell do you all think you are doing?
They stood silently looking at their feet.
Nandhini: even kindergarten kids will behave maturely than you guys. Now get out of my kitchen.
They silently moved out of the kitchen. That's when she noticed shubu.
Nandhini: shubu tu bhi
Shubu: woh mom. I will be back in 2 mins
Shubu ran to his room before nandhini can say anything.
Nandhini: Priya you should have stopped them.
Priya: Mom woh
Nandhini: Ask tharun to clean the kitchen first. It is starting to stink.
Priya: ji mom.
Nandhini went to her room not believing what she saw. Seeing her shubu with that gang made her restless. She have to do something to stop this nonsense.

All the five returned in a fresh set of cloths that the other three borrowed from Ram and shubu to see priya and Brindha waiting for them in the dining table.
They all stood there silently not knowing how they will react while bri and Priya burst out laughing seeing their confused sullen face.
Priya: It's ok, we have cleaned everything. Mom didn't say anything.
You all come and eat.
All five smiled at her and settled on their seats.
Bri: Today we have only briyani.
Adi: it's okey baby. Priya ki briyani will more than enough for us.
Kunal,vik: yeah.
Bri: how sweet,
They all smiled at her feeling proud of themselves.While bri continued.
Bri: you all are the reason for this, as you guys wasted all the Ingredients. If you ask me, we should allow you all to sleep in empty stomach.
All looked at her sadly.
Priya: bri stop it yaar, enough of teasing them.
Priya started serving them, they were all shocked to see all the dishes they have asked in the table.
Bri: Priya made everything in the time you guys went to freshen up.
Kunal: wow bhabhi. You are awesome.
Adi: yeah Priya
Priya: Now start eating
All started eating their food happily, while Ram smiled at Priya fondly.
After completing their dinner and dessert along with some Masti, Everyone returned to their home.

Ram came out of washroom to find Priya lying in the bed with her eyes shut. He know she is in discomfort as she held her feet every now and then.
He silently went to her with a small bowl of oil. He sat in the bed beside and placed her feet in his lap making her to jump out of the bed.
Ram: arey kya hua
Priya: what are you doing? Why are touching my feet?
Ram: what is wrong it? Am I not allowed to touch your feet?
Priya: There is no need for you to touch my feet.
Ram: come on Priya, I thought you as a rational person. Now come here.
He dragged her again to the bed and forcibly placed her feet in his lap before massaging it with the oil.
Priya: this is not needed Mr. Kapoor.
Ram: I'm just Ram to you now and I know you are in pain. Your feet looks little swelled up.
He kept on massaging her feet to reduce the pain.
Priya looked at him and smiled fondly controlling her tears.
Ram: I should have just ordered outside without listening to you. You exhausted youself with all these cooking and cleaning. Sorry Priya, I just keep on adding your workload.
Priya: why would you say sorry? I'm got to enjoy these moments because of you. I got so many wonderful peoples in my life because of you. You are the reason for my happiness Ram.
Ram: You know priya, this will be first time I have ever been playful in this house. You know adi, bri, Kunal and vik will only stay in our room or living room. At first,they won't even join me in the dining table. After lot of emotional blackmail, I made them to use it. I know that, their hesitation is valid since they never felt welcoming here.Today seeing them, getting comfortable in this house makes me realise that you truly made this mansion into a home. You don't know priya how much I longed to see them feel welcomed here. Thank you for coming into my life and making it worth to live.
Priya moved forward and hugged him not knowing how to comfort him with words. Ram broke the hug after wiping his tears.
Ram: it's getting really late, you should sleep now.
Priya nodded at him, before lying in the bed she held his face and placed a soft kiss on his forehead before whispering,' I love you and I don't want to see this tears in your eyes ever'. she kissed his both the eyelids softly before whispering good night.
Ram smiled at her and whispered good night after kissing her forehead. He sat beside her caressing her head while Priya went into a deep slumber as soon as she hit the bed due to her tiredness. After making sure that she slept. Ram again started massaging her feet along with pressing her legs.
He slept only when he saw her sleep peacefully without any discomfort due to the pain in her feet.

Ahhhh! So good! It’s literally a treat to watch and read the sequences that portray the deep camaraderie RK shares with his gang… they are literally BFFs and it’s always an ecstatic feeling to get a new insight into what their relationship might be. Also to see shubhu being a sweet party to the gang is surreal! And ofc, Ram caring for Priya makes my heart somersault with genuine happiness and ecstasy! Can’t wait to read more of Ram being an attentive and doting husband to his beloved wife.💓💓💓
