Yes and I think I read a post where Sneha said that she and Aruinta were best friends at that show.

it seems like Pawan has also quit Octopus. Not announced yet but that’s my assumption based on few things.
He unfollowed Octopus on IG too. Even though Octopus made a couple of good songs (I preferred them over Himesh songs) there was something brewing there based on all the unfollows.

I haven't noticed this, but he does continue to follow Raj Surani, while Arunita continues to follow both Raj Surani and Octopus.

So did Pawandeep unfollow or just that he followed only Raj Surani and not Octopus?

He unfollowed Octopus a few days ago and it seems like there is a high chance that he may have also quit Octopus. The contract has to go through Sony.

If this is true, then I think it is good for him. The octopus project seemed liked it took too much of their time as they were required to act as well.
If their octopus contract ends, then they have time to pick up more singing projects.

From what I heard they are coming back with renewed vigor soon.
It was the wrong project to be hitched to in hindsight, but that is my personal opinion.
It will be tough to wriggle out of it unless they underperform willfully.

Re. wrong project - I guess at that time about 1 month before the Finale when they were shooting for the Maruti video, that would have sounded like a good deal - 20 songs in one contract. Here on this forum we always thought it would be "upto 20 songs" but who knows how it was sold to them via Sony.

Underperforming wilfully is always dangerous, considering word of mouth publicity is important in this industry.

Okay, I hadn't noticed that. But I doubt it is that easy to get out of contracts.
