But on a serious note, NB isn’t the first actor who is playing a badly written character. I did give him leeway in the beginning but there is a limit. Look at Gashmeer’s acting in Tamarind. Such a pathetic, spineless and toxic character AKT is and yet, Gashmeer nailed it to the T till the very last day. Now that’s what I call experience and brilliance. Both of them have almost same years of experience and both of their characters suck big time, then how come such a huge difference. That’s where the difference between an excellent and okayish actor lies😔
The director is at equal fault though. How can such a scene be approved? What is the director doing? Making reels? Smoking weed?

Most of the shows these days have terrible ML.... point to be noted here is 'most' and not 'all'...lol😆
I never followed Tamarind because of the plot and ML characterisation but have always found Gashmir good looking and charming and whenever I came across his angsty acting clips, he was so good in all of them.
Directors ki sabse badi galti hai...everything is going bhagwan bharose...till the time jaffar was director, the performances were good, since the time he left, everything is going down.
Director Ashwini is best friend who forgets to say cut and do not even try to take a re-shot... arre monitor par dikhta hai, the problems with a particular scene, why can't it be re-shot, itni bhi kya jaldi.
Virat is supposed to be a character who messes up things every month or two, then the mess continues for another four five months, with all the dragging, so always blaming the connect and track/ plot problem cannot be used as an excuse.
Jokes apart all this poor acting is making me as SaiRat fan feel cheated. This is not how I or fans like me want this to happen. Storyline or current track may be crap but this is pulling it down into an abyss.
It's high time everyone involved in the show realises this. 😔.

Me too, since the Harinee birthday track, I wanted to see the angst, the pain where Virat makes several efforts to get to Sai but what we get is disgust and arrogance always. The layers in acting are missing, many such characters were hit, their pairs giving some iconic scenes being superhit, it's not the first time that there is some ML on ITV who is doing questionable things but they were performed very well, the day the performances of actor's went bad used to be the day when the ratings dropped....

Exactly. I'm feeling very cheated and sorry for myself.
Tracks get bad in most serials. How will they run a show for years? And actors who work in these know this basic fact.
You have to believe in the medium if you're working in it. That's it. Period. There is no excuse according to me. There are bad days and we do understand but overall the actor has to be consistent.
I hope someone can explain this to me. They have a much loved show with a much loved pair but instead of cashing in on that they are going out of their way with bad writing, bad editing, horrible direction and costumes, non existent acting, disrespectful and unprofessional offscreen behavior. Are they trying bring their show down? I bet there are many actors, directors, writers who would die to be on a show like that and give their best. It’s a shame that no one on that show (with the exception of one) seems to take their job seriously. The audience has been literally begging them for months on end to get their act together and they keep getting worse and worse. I have never seen such arrogant, unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from an entire team across the board.

You are right about Gashmeer. He is brilliant and beyond. Even though I thoroughly disliked his character, I was always in awe with his acting chops. He made AKT tolerable and umm, even nice sometimes. The man of my DP did well to match up to him though😳
Plus, he actively promoted his on-screen couple despite being married and having a son. His wife, the FL and the PL are all great friends. Just putting it out there😆
The director of this show sucks big time. In fact, the direction, editing, execution and non-existent cinematography, all is pathetic🤪
It would be an extremely unfair comparison but putting it out as an example.
In the recent movie 'Dont look up' there's a scene of Meryl Streep where she (playing US president) is on a phone call while others are waiting for her.
The interview/video is circulating on various SM about how dedicated she is to her craft and how she improvises.
The phone call in question doesn't have dialogues written for her and she was supposed to go extempore. The director mentions that there were 20-25 takes and she did a different phone call conversation in each one of them not even repeating a single one. 8-10 can se seen in the SM video itself.
Point is .. if she.. at this stature in her career can do this and have so much dedication for her craft why can't these people have it.
It is therefore a matter of arrogance and over confidence.
Utterly disappointing that these people have no attachment/ ethics for something that is their bread and butter.
