Very interesting analysis. I unfortunately don't know too much about Hinduism nor either Gods to make much comment about how the writers are drawing some aspects and characteristics to the two MLs from the different seasons.

Obviously the characters aren't Gods. All I see is Abhimanyu is two extremes and with the entrance of Akshara in his life she will bring him into balance. Just as he will do the same for her. Hence the notion that they are made for each other and complete each other.

Absolutely beautiful analysis! Of course Abhi is a mortal, but you have described how he mirrors Lord Shiva so well. And it is even more beautiful, because we can see that Akshu is currently undergoing her transformation from Sati to Parvati as well. Once she comes into her full form, not only will she teach Abhi how to balance himself (which she is already doing), but Abhi will also have taught her how to prioritize herself. The strength was always within her, but she just needed someone worth fighting for and who believed in her to let it shine.

Your analysis is beautiful. I don’t know much about shiva or Krishna although I am Hindu lol. But I am not into mythology. So, I won’t compare Abhimanyu to either god. But for me is just a flawed human who is ardent lord shiva devotee. He has had his own share of problematic childhood which made him what he is today. He acknowledges this but he doesn’t know how to heal himself. So that’s where akshara comes in play. She completes him. And he has vowed himself to protect her from all hardships.

Harshad being an experienced and senior should reject or take stand if any butchering of character takes place. Shaheer sheikh openly tweeted about one of the KRPKAB (kuch rang) tracks. He said this show is becoming like a Saas Bahu drama and after his tweet the plot was changed and they made it watchable!!

Whereas Abhimanyu is definitely a notch above Kartik. He wasn't introduced as a boy, but a very serious, reserved and mature man, a loyal devotee of Lord Shiva. Just like his object of devotion who is known as 'kshipra kopi" (easily angered), Abhimanyu is short tempered. However, Lord Shiva's tandav has always been a private affair which provided him with calmness. Whereas in, for Abhimanyu it doesn't matter where he does his tandav because he is not God but a mere mortal with flaws.

Like Lord Shiva who is also known as "kshipra prasadi" (easily pleased) it is easy to please Abhimanyu as well. However there is a major difference. Lord Shiva is pleased by any of his devotee who calls out to Bholenath with pure devotion. Whereas in Abhimanyu can only be pleased by a select few. This is where we see his cracks too. Where we realise he is still a work in progress as only people who can get through to him are his mom and his lady love.

However we have been recently witnessing his playful side as well. He is madly in love with Akshara and this love lowers his inhibitions. The child inside the man comes out to play. This is probably his kanha side. Yes, it does seem like Kanha and Shiva are two different extremes. One playful and the other reserved or composed.

Or may be there is no Kanha in Abhimanyu at all. He oscillates between two extremes like Lord Shiva. Either the ascetic or the hedonist and only Akshara can bring balance to his life. Is it not what soulmates are supposed to do? If it is not to bring balance and composure into Abhimanyu's life, why would she even be? This story belongs to Abhimanyu. It tells us about his existence, his growth and how his lady love helps him evolve and complete him to become the perfect man. Because how can he ever be, if his ardhangini refuses to become part of him and dissolve in him.
