About the whole love vs romance vs age factor, the makers were actually trying their level best to balance on this extremely thin line between emotions and age-appropriateness, so all the supposedly romantic scenes could be interpreted platonically and vice-versa.

However, the Mano track was actually for Ani to make peace with his supposedly wrong feelings for Bon. If you guys are reading our story Setting it Right, I feel you will understand it soon enough.
