Atif reminds me of Jason Rothenberg the creator & show runner of the TV series 100. He gave build up for the slow burn relationship of the main 2 characters for 6 seasons where they evolved from enemies to co-leaders to friends to best friends. But in the 7th season because the 2 actors got married in real life & didn't bow down to JRoth's commands he just destroyed both the characters & their relationship in the 7th season along with the sci fi plot as well. There was not one redeeming quality of the season. JRoth brutally destroyed his own creation to satisfy his ego.

Atif is doing the same thing. Because GM didn't agree with his out of the blue creative story line, he is hell bent on destroying everything about the show- Imlie, Adi are the heavy casualties. GM gave a giant Ingore to Atif as he had nothing good to say about him. So now Atif is being a child seeking his attention 🤮.

Whatever GM had refused to do as Adi, Atif is going to make the new Adi do all that nonsense to satisfy his ego. I don't know what sort of relationship MD & Atif have, but Atif's insistence to keep Rapist Didi relevant at the expense of Adi-Imlie has become the downfall of the show. The show would have remained interesting even if they had followed the original storyline.

I won't be surprised if this new Adi becomes a Didi bhakt & his baapta emerges with a vengeance to make him a Jagya to Imlie's Anandi🤪. All the best to ST for jheloing all the nonsense that she will have to bear. This new actor also who has only been brought in as the bakri jise halaal karna hai also has my sympathies😆. FK also ended up being an instrument for Atif to seek attention from GM.

Atif jitna iss Adi ko girayega, the original GM Adi will become all the more precious & it will only prove that the Adi that we cherished was only possible because of GM.

this is giving me Deja Vu of RumYa.. again unka bhi koi kasoor nahi tha except that they gained equal popularity as shivika.. they actually had a base and A proper story and flow and was just equally loved and the makers did not expect ke yeh itne bade ho jaayeneg yahaan bhi wohi case lag raha hai.. this si the First PH jo apni sccessful har jodi ko APne haaton se tabah karta hai none of their Jodi's actually Got a happy ending if you put in perspective be it asad zoya, SHivika, RUmya,,etc...

they did not expect Adilie to become what it did and have ruined it.. again i am just so ahppy ke GM is out before saying this kind of crap and accusing imlei of sleeping with this guy. she was bad too but then again cannot blame her jab aage se yeh response milega usse.. i have to laugh so hard at woh Golu chacha tryign to equate Annu ka shaadi se mana karna with him not raising a question in denial of a college trip liek are you serioius.. ke maine toh nahi koi question kia tha how come he did it.. college ka trip is not the same thing as shaadi FYI

uske baad khair they all became Normal int he chaavi ka result scene and I esp loved how Goli ended upd efending woh kam educted bahabhi and told her brother Off straight up ke Degree nahi ahi toh kya hua honi chahiye thi since all of us are edcuated due to her as bade papa was tryignt o shame her for kam padhi likhi hona but in casual way. i liked the family vibe woh unit feeling back again in that scene.. However,, i do not agree wiht the whoile thign they are tryign toi push ke ina family nobody shoudl even object or try to counbter to find an answer back.. and then saying ke thop thodi rahein hain.. itna emotional Manipualtion kia itna Corner kar dia and then playign mahaan..Still this show is Relaly giving me Joy these days and woh Intrest Factor caz it is balancing a lot fo thigns well so far in 24 episodes aaj kal to 2, se zyada koi nahi akr paata so for now this is my Go to..

Naadan the makers are hell bent on rewriting the story & characters. There is no point in looking for any reason or logic in what anybody says in the show now kyunki hoga wahi jo cvs chahate hai.

I don't think that they had any intention of Adi-Imlie not being the OTP. Epi 1 se unka destined connection & then their organic evolution happened. They wanted us to root for them.

Yeh beech main hi Atif & Muskaan ji ko jhatka laga ki they have to make it into another Anupama or BV. Channel ne toh I don't think kuch pressure kiya hoga for any story change since Trp was consitently in the top 3 for the show. Everything is Atif & Co. ki zidd only. Otherwise they could have followed the OG show ka template.

Rumya ka I don't know why they did what they did. So what if they were gaining popularity. That was the intention of the show na to invest the audience in the love story of the 3 brothers. Sirf Nakaara ki love story chali nahi. Warna Shivika & Rumya were flourishing. Yeh pata nahi inke bhi makers ko kya hua ki unhe Rumya khatak ne lage. Self sabotage tha yeh. Same case with Adi-Imlie. Why do they destroy what is working for the show is beyond me🤷

Agreed that GM made the wise decision of parting from the show rather than go with the asinine story. He honoured his commitment to the character Adi & left a lucrative job to not be a part of its destruction. So yes hats off to him for that. As we have discussed before in case of ST, she cannot do the same. Though she has been working for some time now but Imlie is her big break. Therefore she cannot go against the makers lest they label her ungrateful. So she has to go alongwith whatever they make Imlie do. She can't afford to bigado her working relationships at this stage in her life.

I have been busy this week so have not yet caught up with the recent epis. I have watched till the Gun bday party epis where Gun's father puts forward the rishta proposal. Yeh emotional bm wale epis I will see on Sunday. Next week se I can watch the show in real time & discuss.

@bold: Exactly. Adilie were destined from the beginning, it wasn't some extrapolation from the fans. Makers actively pushed the fact that this is a story of Adilie fighting to be together against all odds.....but seems like somewhere in between a call was taken to turn this more into a sautan sisters drama rather than keeping it focused on interactions between all three characters ke complications. They actively relegated Adi to just a prop watching the two women fighting over him - games happening beyond his knowledge.....lol that is when the downfall started.

Cuz even when the first suicide track happened, Adi had an active role to play, to react.....AM ke convos at that time still had layers of unpredictability vis a vis where it was all going.....like even if Malini lied about KC, things took unexpected turns for her with Adi believing her instantly....LOL and things not falling in place for M like she wanted....that circumstantial angle continued......but second suicide naatak onwards, we saw the contrivance seep in vis a vis Adi ke reactions also - him being all befuddled over AC just dumping M on him out of the blue.....and uske baad se trajectory was downwards only - pehle gradually hua and baad mein accelerated. Makers actively chose a negative turn for every situation at every point.....barely even a fleeting moment of positivity would happen in passing.

Isse pehle tak the focus was on Adilie fighting for Ts ka acceptance....but second suicide onwards Adi was actively rendered a khambaa - a deliberate call for whatever reasons - favoritism towards Mayuri, a creative call to fixate on Malini's planning/plotting over Adilie ka development, pure laziness in writing.....lol could be anything. Initially I think wahin tak thi baat.....but yes, clearly as this phase dragged on, some thing must have happened behind the scenes vis a vis GM also speaking up about the aimlessness of the storyline, nothing for Adi to do etc. etc......and that is where it seems Atif/Muskaan ka ego came into play enough for them to take the call to actively start diluting Adilie. They've done it in bits and pieces so that people don't catch on instantly but yeah now they've reached the point where they can try to claim 300 epis of the Adilie who were truly star crossed lovers fighting the world to be together - lol now they want to claim it was all a mirage.....it was all "zabardasti" and Adi was always ghatiya aadmi.....

LOL it would be a tall order to sell in any story - Adi is not some Jagya from BV1 firstly....I have to laugh at people drawing those comparisons.....khud se hi dimaag mein is show ko "social message" show banaa liya hai about giving some gyaan regarding forced marriage.....lol BV was actively filled with daily gyaan against child marriage.....Imlie was sold as the story of destiny - two people binded together by destiny in extraordinary and traumatic circumstances which they OVERCAME.....that was the message. But LOL people are determined to make this some kind of BV now.....lol ok sure.....waise bhi makers are just lazily lifting from Arylie waalon ke fantasies, but unka execution level phir bhi joke hi rehta hai and baaki acting levels also we can see😆....so dikh raha hai kitna chal paayega yeh.....lol
