Okay, I have a personal grievance against the phrase 'parivar ki izzat'. Uske naam pe bohot kuch hota hai, which does not take into consideration the feelings and emotions of the humans involved. I know meri baaton se bohot log agree nhi karenge, but mere chote se jeevan ke kuch experiences ke karan I say this. Hence, this episode and the precap was very triggering.

So, parivar ki izzat had first gotten messed up DUE TO THE PARIVARS ITSELF. They didn't talk properly, nobody clarified stuff, everyone assumed everything and then, the tilak fiasco happened. I felt soooo bad for all three of them, Abhi, Akshu and Aarohi, because they were the victims of the adults' incompetency and their own bubbles of happiness. That time, and time and again, Akshu sacrificed her own happiness for the parivar's izzat and Aarohi's happiness. Why doesn't anyone remember that? Why does noone think about it? Why does noone apologize to Akshu, for always being the one forced to sacrifice? What was her fault in all of this? What was Abhi's fault? He fell in love and everyone treated him as if he's the biggest predator in the world.

When Abhi had first mentioned marriage to Aarohi, I agree, it was a bad move. He made it in anger and he got caught in that whole web of making people happy. At the back of his mind, I think he felt either the Goenkas will say no or Akshu would finally speak up. None of those things happened.

Anyway, so, before he came to the Goenka house, (SINCE THE WHOLE WORLD HAS FORGOTTEN THIS FACTORY) Akhilesh and Aarohi went behind everyone's back and spoke to the Birlas. That time noone thought of parivar ki izzat? Manish had said no, they had made a collective decision, then why? Why did Aarohi go behind their back and agree to the alliance? Even after knowing that Abhi only loves Akshu (which he stated time and again, and told her that this is just a marriage of convenience, so you back off pls) Manish and the rest of the family conveniently forgot about the tilak fiasco, all that parivar izzat and shiZz, and silently said yes. Why? WHY? why is this izzat so selectively present everywhere? Nobody ever asked Akshu how she felt, and if this is okay. They all knew Abhi loved Akshu and still agreed. So what did they expect, that everything will be a smooth ride?

I know, I know we all wanted a confession. We all are sooo happy and finally relieved, that AbhiRa finally chose their own happiness over their families. Over selfishness. I'm very very happy for them.

But, I know that the situation was not ideal. Drama shouldn't have stretched to the mandap. As a girl and a fellow human, I only feel bad that Aarohi had to go through that whole decked up and left at the altar drama. (Her deeds are too much to forgive, sorry)

But, I also understand, that sometimes in life, when you're pushed and pushed and you find yourself in a corner, suffocated, you take rash decisions and steps. You do whatever to save yourself at that moment. And that's what these two did. And, ABHI SAID IT TOO. Abhi clarified that they were not hiding and marrying, they just came to the temple to seek blessings and then they were coming to meet the family. It's just a coincidence that everyone reached the temple before all that.

Harsh is a master planner, he could have come up with something and not taken the baraat when Abhi went missing. Arrey, pretend someone is sick, MAKE UP A STORY. Hell, Manjiri hadn't even come till the last moment, you could have just used that thing. And tried to minimize some damage on the public front and then seen ki kya hota hai.

I know ki no matter what, samaaj will make a joke out of you. But honestly, that's what happens when you prioritise everything else except the feelings and emotions of humans involved. Samaj will say stuff no matter what you do, but apne baccho ko dekh toh lo, samajh toh jao unhe...

Idk, I'm just very angry with how everything is happening. All this could have been avoided if Goenkas and Birlas we're sensible. But Harsh, Manish, Mimi, Swarna...sab ek jaise hai. Inconsiderate and selfish. I'm including Mimi and Swarna in this because they never speak up, never say anything. And that's being selfish, because you're deliberately removing yourself from this situation.

Aarohi is a great manipulator she is self obsessed... I'm not seeing her turning positive anytime soon.

Both families together have messed up parivaar ki izzat and specially Birla they could have done something else to damage control but bina dulhe ke baraat who does that.

Honestly this parivaar ki izzat thing ruins many families in real life too and for one who ignore these things and go ahead with their kids decision people don't let them live in peace either.

But at this point Akshara needs to stop her Aaru jaap... I'm fed up she is running behind her and instead of making her realize she is getting manipulated by her.
