Exactly a very medicore song if someone getting a national award for such medicore song can raise a big question mark on credibility of national award that year, this song vocally doesn't have much to do, if udit got the award for devdas it would still acceptable, but same year some of the vocally best songs released which were ignored by jury of NA,

maybe they liked the positive vibe of Zindagi Khoobsurat Hai 😆 and some songs that sound simple can be difficult to execute too.
