1) This is probably GM's first IV where he didn't just go on and on about his own work and spoke about ST at length too vis a vis her being the name and face of the show😆.....now whether this is a result of him and ST having gotten closer over time or now him feeling more responsibility for her success to continue even as he exits, that is open to speculation.....lol....but I guess it's more likely the latter....he knows his leaving will take some kind of toll but since he wants ST to do well, he is doing his part in promoting her as the anchor of this show.

2) Despite all the gushing about how amicable this exit was, the very fact that the GM who is otherwise so blunt and candid about many things😆 - that GM doesn't want to reveal what the reason for him leaving the show was.....lol that in itself speaks volumes. Cuz if it was for a big project or a movie, why wouldn't he reveal that? And he also cleared up the fact that it wasn't his lack of availability to shoot for Imlie.....lol so then option obviously comes back to creative differences only na😆. The IV-er did list creative differences as one of the speculations about why he's leaving but he cleverly never answered that and only addressed the 10 days a month rumor😆.

3) The timeline for the exit decision - it's all still very murky.....lol here he's saying decision was taken two months back so that's around end Nov. then.....lol till first week of Nov, he was rubbishing rumors of him quitting, so he wants to tell us that suddenly in 2 weeks he decided he wants to leave aise hi? And that too by giving two whole months for "show to stabilize with his reduced SS"? 😆.....why do you need to do all of that if you've decided to leave? It shouldn't be your problem anymore either if it's all business, right? 😆....tum apna kaam karke nikal lo - baaki producer ka headache. But no, you still need to hang around for 2 months to "stabilize" something that you still won't give a clear reason for leaving? 😆.....Mujhe toh yeh saare PR type answers lag rahe hain.....lol like he's literally reading out from Gul ki puri PR playbook ki we need to plan this exit in a phased approach, prove Adi wrong for Imlie suddenly after 300 epis of saying they are made for each other😆......now suddenly we will show Adi doing shak on Imlie toh sab log maan bhi lenge - tadaa😆.....Bullshit. This is Gul brand of thinking, not GM's😆. Again, the real crux lies in the REASON for why he's leaving, not how they tried to MANAGE his leaving.....lol but yeh log humein baaton mein ghumaana chahte hain.

4) Biggest LOL was deffo him being like for Aryan to be accepted, Aditya had to be proven wrong for Imlie.....ROFL this is the lamest storytelling philosophy possible and I'd like to believe that the guy who sold us such a humanized version of Adi for so long doesn't subscribe to such lame thinking ki kisi ek ko achha prove karne ke liye dusre ko bura dikhana zaroori hota hai. Later in the IV he was jhaadoing so much gyaan on kaala teeka and people who want to perceive kisi aur ki goodness as a threat to themselves......lol you're telling me that guy thinks it's a sound storytelling technique to prove one person good by making others look bad? Heck this is the guy who called Malini a Devi even when she was wrong for so long.....lol jo aaj tak Malini ki galtiyaan itni candidly nahin point out kar paaya is now suddenly saying Adi needed to be proven wrong for Aryan to supposedly be right? lol so is he then also agreeing with those people who claimed Malini needed to be proven "bad" to make Adilie look good? LOL bullshit.....so yeah this is bullshit answer number 2 from him in this IV which again I also feel is from the PR playbook warna iska bhi 10 page long response aata....the things he actually believes in, he gushes for like 2 paragraphs about....otherwise it's a short one liner😆.

These are cheap gimmicks....when you pull down one person to prop another up, that is never a lasting thing - it's a short term cheap thrill at the most. Last woh karta hai jiski khud ki shaksiyat hoti hai - kisi ko kuchal ke upar chadhne waale ki shaksiyat hi rotten hoti hai. If Aryan had the caliber as a character to stand on his own, he wouldn't need Adi to be pulled down....his goodness would have shone through on his own without his every dialogue needing to be about how bad Adi is.....lol....the fact that makers subscribed to such a lame ideology to set up the next phase of their story reflects more on their bakwaas mindsets than anything else.....and GM at this point more or less seems like he just wants out and he cares in the least Aryan kaise accept ho😆.....writers ne bol diya aise hoga accept toh he's like ok sure if you say so ......but I'll still ace the scraps of Adi scenes I'm getting till the end and baaki sab aap log sambhaal lena....lol waah 😆.....aise hoga transition? Waah re khushfehmiyaan😆

And it's hilarious ki he has no thoughts or faraks to spare for Malini didi ji who was the lynchpin for 300 episodes before Aryan....ROFL no faraks to give for Didi ki haq ki ladaai🤣.....the deafening silence on that front also says plenty about the reasons he wanted to exit😆. He's literally done this whole IV like Malini doesn't even exist and it's all about how he's ok with however they wanted to set up Aryan for Imlie😆

5) The part about Rahul director saab.....lol while I do appreciate him reminiscing about the phase until when they got to do scenes organically and Rahul allowing him and ST to take the scenes wherever they wanted to with their improvisations, it is again the deafening silence about Atif that fills in the blanks.....lol yes, Rahul may have been the director until they left for Hyd, but that entire phase pre-Hyd also included bits like the Dil Se sequence, the PD2 gunshot sequence which Atif did direct....lol and which GM himself at that point used to hail about how Atif makes him look like an action hero etc. etc.....the fact that GM totally omitted to mention that from his journey with Imlie does say a lot now.....lol the fact that GM also mainly loved everything before the Hyd schedule does say a lot😆.....that was indeed the best phase of the show....things were on a downward trajectory after that, even if we got the one odd NDE type scene here or there in terms of grand action stuff.

5) The rest of it is a lot of his general reflections on his work, life, career etc.....some good anecdotes in there about how self-confidence is perceived, the energy with which he approaches a scene, the way Imlie honed him as an actor in terms of being able to work in more time crunch and less time to get a scripting heads up.....that was all a good read too :) I think the Imlie experience does seem to have been learning curve for him in his own way and he will probably absorb this as life lessons in his own way to use as anecdotes down the road just like he's still giving anecdotes from the time he ran his event management company since he had to start working at a young age to fend for his family.

Deffo a great read overall.....he's tried his best to leave on a positive/amicable note from his side.....lol but the makers are the ones who thrust the show into negativity a while back and that bill will come due on its own with time.

Waise again, what do they want us to believe? Ki Arylie are some kind of "Raj-Simran" with this "dard ka rishtaaaa"? 😆
