"Two rooms? sorry sir I'm only showing a booking for a honeymoon suite in the name of Mr. and Mrs. Kapadia" replied the receptionist
"sorry Anu maine do rooms book kiye the, ye zaroor GK ne kiya hoga" explained Anuj hoping she wouldn't get the wrong idea, when he had no such intentions.
"its ok " she replied and took him to the side to say "hum shadi shuda hai, aap bhool gaye?" smiling to himself he went back to the reception to collect the keys to the suite.
The room was set up for a honeymoon couple as expected with plenty of flowers and a huge hamper addressed to them...Assuming what could be the contents of the hamper he put it to the side to save himself more embarrassment and said "I'm sorry again Anu, ye sab maine...." and was shushed by her finger on his lips.
When he lost himself in her deep brown eyes that held immense love for him... the moment felt surreal, he was with his Anu, his wife Anu, he couldnt say it enough and she wanted to hear him say over and over again....
*flashback end*
“thank you Mr Kapadia, Mrs Kapadia, enjoy the rest the evening” said Andy as they left the restaurant after an awkwardly enjoyable dinner.
As he pulled out his phone to call his driver she gave him a look that said she preferred to walk...“it’s only a few blocks away” she said and he shoved his phone back into his pocket.
Walking in silence for a while, she rubbed her hands and slid them in her jacket to keep warm as he watched her from the corner of eye and said “thand lag rahi hai tumhe?” to which she replied “haan tumhe nahi lag rahi?”
Smirking he said “nahi ab mai naazuk Kapadia nahi raha”.....picking the scabs from years ago, they remembered the talk and walk after the Christmas party that had brought them closer.
“Bapuji aur Baa kaise hai?” he asked to break another silent spell...
“ acche hai” she replied with a sadness in her tone “ bas akele padh gaye hai...sabko bohot miss karte hai khaskar Paakhi....”
Recollecting the fateful night Anu ran a quick flashback of the incident that turned their life upside down...
*flashback*
Kissing him back with newfound passion, Anu ran her hands through his hair to tug him closer when her phone rang incessantly.
Breaking from the kiss he asked her to take the call assuming it was important and excused himself to go the restroom
“Anupama kahan ho tum?, abhi ke abhi ghar aao” yelled the voice at the other end, it was Vanraj asking her to come home right away.
“Anuj hamein abhi nikalna hai” she cried
“hua kya hai Anu? kuch toh batao...” he asked offering her a glass of water to calm her down.
“mujhe nahi pata kya hua hai kaise hua hai, bas itna pata hai ki Paakhi ko lekar kuch hua hai...aap mujhe please abhi Shah house le chaliye”
Rushing back into the city, as they drove in to the street, Anuj said “Anu mai tumhara yahin wait karta hoon, shayad mai koi kaam aa sakoo? tum mujhe andar aane se kyu mana kar rahi ho?”
“Anuj aap ghar jayiye, mujhe aapki zaroorat hogi toh mai call kar loongi, par aap abhi jayiye” she instructed and ran in hysterically to be greeted by a group of questioning faces.
Scanning her from top to bottom Vanraj screamed “accha toh mera shak sahi tha, tum Anuj ke saath hi thi, tumhara huliya bata raha hai ki Anupama ji apne so called hero ke sath kahin date shate par gayi thi...usi hero ke sath jiski wajah se aaj meri beti mein itni himmat aagayi ke wo ghar chod ke chali gayi!”
“aapko iss sab mein Anuj ki galtiya dikh rahi hai mishter Shah? ye bataiyye ke sweety ka koi call aaya?”
“haan aaya tha call aur Paakhi ne khud kaha hai ki Anuj ne usey ghar se bhaagne mein help ki, uski itni himmat ki meri baccho ko use karke apna badla le?”
“ ye aap kya keh rahe hai mishter Shah, Anuj aapse kya badla lenge aur kyu?”
“Anupama maine tumbe pehle bhi kaha tha ki Anuj ko mai mere baccho ke maamle mein bolne nahi doonga, aur ab mai usse bataunga ki Vanraj Shah kaise badla leta hai...”

alright, first time I’ve included trashraj to this level but he is important to the story...bolna kaisa laga update please...see you soonish with the next one where more of the plot will be revealed.
