Good point. I mean even in one of Sikku's earlier interviews, he wanted the show to continue for 2 years - no way he didn't have a general idea of plot lines for 2 years. But yea, shifting the time slot probably did make him give up. But that's also just sad. Wouldn't he have rather it finish strong? Let the show be great from beginning to end? They had major cracks starting from Mandaar track though but that's also prob when pressure was really set on him, from SP, "to do better, or else".

Tbh I find it hilarious and ironic that most of SP 'latest' shows are doing worse than MHRW ever was doing LOL. The karma. So sweet. Only their regressive shows are doing well. When are they going to kick the historical show off air (i forgot the name already).

I agree, he shouldve put in more Marathi dialogue. Tbh I think the show had shifted so much onto RR, that I feel like most of the development was given to him instead of Pallavi. Maybe thats why, they were too focused on RR the character instead of placing equal focus on Pallavi the character too.

Yes Sickand should have given equal focus to Pallavi too but I guess he did not want Pallavi to come across as bechari - I am glad he did not show Pallavi wearing the white Saree too. Frankly that white Saree for widows is too depressing and I am glad Sickand showed Pallavi as a normal girl. Just could have delved a little into her state of mind and her emotional over-dependence on the D family.

Vidrohi Fria, that show never went above 0.7. I don't know who in SP took the decision to replace MHRW with this show. Like seriously. MHRW always stayed above 1 at 6:30pm slot. Yup karma to SP for axing our show

You know Fria i recently have been watching the episodes again and i realised how beautiful Pallavi's character was. She didn't hesitate to bend her self respect too for the greater good, in that sense Raghvi were so similar. That girl had so much spunk and such a different outlook to life. The way she speaks to Krishna's mother or Rahul's or Sulo even about their taunts at her being a widow was such a fresh perspective. I was disheartened to hear the taunts but she didn't take them to heart, she went against VD to work with Raghav because she knew she was doing the right thing. There were so many such instances where the girl within her boundaries did the right thing. I'm telling you she was really short changed.

She may not have been magnanimous like RR but she had a charm and spunk that could stand before Raghav and challenge him. No wonder this man was drawn to her from the start.

I feel bad for sicku because the covid scare and the trp pressure by Star may have literally restricted his creative freedom. Ofcourse fan pressure of hating his tadke wali daal didn't help either. So all in all he was pressurized from everywhere. I wish he got the 2 yrs he wanted to show the story.

None of SP new shows (vidrohi is the name of the historic show) have worked well and it is a curse SP will continue to have. They did mhrw and us fans very dirty and they deserve all the losses coming their way. Karma is a bitch indeed.

Ren, I agree many of the shows back then were quite progressive for its time. KSKS had a misleading title if you ask me, it seems that would be a better-suited title for ITV shows these days considering how rampant third angles have become. In this age and decade, it doesn't sit well with me when a show opens with double marriage as the central story. I really wish SaiShi get something better than this for their future projects.

Oh I would love to see Shivi in a negative character. I believe she has the skills to pull it off convincingly, and I would totally root for her over the leads. Let her stop naagin from saving the world please😆

Fria, have you watched Diyar e Dil? It has Osman and Maya in it as well as Sanam Saeed (from ZGH), Hareem, Mikael and Ali. It's one of my favorite PTV dramas by far.

There are many rulings regarding polygamy in Islam and I agree, most people just try to bend the rules to suit their purposes nowadays. It's not a go-to solution for everything and afaik, cousin-marriages too are allowed but not preferable in the religion because it doesn't allow for diversification, unlike inter-tribes/intercultural marriages. It makes sense if PTV dramas show polygamy or marriages within the family because it's not uncommon in there, just like Turkish television shows a lot of things that are not common/are unacceptable in the religion but acceptable socioculturally. It does get a bit tiring when almost ALL the shows have the same themes though. And it is all the more painful to watch it on ITV which is already rife with EMAs and scheming exes. I haven't watched anything good on PTV in a while. Can't watch Firoze Khan because he always plays doomed characters and I'm a sucker for happy endings LOL. Aunty is so cute though Fria, always hoping for redemption😆

I only watched one drama called Anaa with Usman Mukhtar in it. It was meh but his character was quite popular back then if I remember correctly. I want to watch Hum kahan ke sachay they with him, Mahira and Kubra in it.

The VD show is called Sirf tum. Rangeela got its priorities straight with such a lineup😆

Sharada, Fanaa is so LOL. I never followed the IMMJ franchise but I think the first two seasons had better storylines than this. Gayu might be able to confirm. This stalker-aashiq is already a done to death trope and I simply can't digest how people can romanticize such concepts or characters. Maybe his character will die a slow, painful death in the series finale? Wishful thinking🤔

I didn't know about Zain being shortlisted as RR. He is too polished for such characters. Sai gave such a rough edge to RR, I'm glad Sickand's casting was so on point with both him and Shivi. I miss good content on ITV man.

Let sitara flop. I can't digest rangeela's regressive shows garnering top ratings but at least they know what their USP is, hah.

I wonder, couldn't they move MHRW to Star bharat? The TRP race isn't as bad for that channel is it? They are airing all of sitara's old show remakes and renewals so what was the harm in relaunching it there?

If you've not watched Yakeen ka safar, my suggestion watch that. You'll love that location as well.
