oh is that so? I didnt know. Oops my bad then. I was in the wrong. I played this first time but this looked a lot like taboo. There along with the word you also have taboo words that cant be used for explanation or clues

nah its all good 🤣 don't worry about it

actual codenames is more complicated but you basically have a spymaster (the clue giver) and the spies (the guessers), one set of that for a red team and a blue team. The additional trick here is that the team has to guess words based off a clue and a number of words to find for that clue (like tree 3, 3 words related to tree), but only of their color, which the spymaster knows which words have which color and as such has to navigate their clues around
