“Who is calling you repeatedly, give it to me , I’ll check it first !” Sanyogita snatched the mobile and then read the name “Ohh !! It's Arjun. why didn't you receive his call?” she asked with a genuine concerned

Prithvi gave her a weak smile.

Sanyogita looked at him with wrinkled eyebrows.

“Just talk to him “she extends the mobile to him

Prithvi’s hand was trembling in nervousness. Sanyogita noticed his body language seemed fishy. Suddenly the call was disconnected

“Look, the call is cut now !” she wondered , chuckled

Prithvi tried hard to smile, but could not. Then within a fraction of seconds, the mobile was once more ringing out.

“I think it's very urgent !! Why is Arjun calling repeatedly? “ Sanyogita sounded concerned

Prithvi nodded his head with a weak smile “ yeah, I think you are right'' `` but before he took the phone, Sanyogita received the call.

“Hello !! What happens? Is everything alright? “ Sanyogita asked with genuine inquietude

Here , another side of the phone ,Arjun, keep the call in speaker,

“Sanyo, can you tell Prithvi to confess the truth ?”Arjun asked looking at the tempered expression of Maya

“Sanyo, Just keep the phone on speaker, Prithvi did not answer my calls , I requested him just a moment ago to tell the truth, !”

Everyone was smiling during the phone call. Sanyogita was too happy , she leaned closer to Prithvi who embraced her securely in his arms. She kept her head on his shoulder. He inhaled the fragrance of vanilla in her body and honey on her wavy, wet hair. Everyone was about to disconnect the calling …after greeting good nights to each other

Raghav opened his mouth and what he asked Prithvi was fearing about it since Raghav came into the conference call.

“But I’m thinking without feeling how Prithvi was able to write a love letter to Kartika ?”’Raghav sounded curious

Everyone quiet for a while then, as if paying attention to the matter , except Prithvi he cursed Raghav deep down .

“Dharam can you write a love letter without feeling ?” Raghav asked with innocence

“Ssshh!!! Kitna bolti ho. If you think that I’ll allow you to go then you are absolutely wrong”

She was rolling her eyes over his face and showed through the gesture of her sight to remove his hand. He removed his hand and cupped her face in his hold

“Love, just looked into my eyes what you’re seeing ?””

She glared at him with a kiddish gesture .

“ You know the answer, don’t you ?”” Prithvi whispered with a calm voice

She nodded her head innocently.

Prithvi smiled gently “ Love, since you have started to grow so many mood swings “

“What’s my fault ? you are hiding me the truth as if it‘ll cause a huge blunder between us “she confessed

Prithvi chuckled “ Sanyo if you angry with me cause I didn't tell you the truth,then I told you the reason , cause I didn't find it was as important “

Sanyogita blink her yes just once before she could get to know,

He kissed her forehead , then kept his head on her lap “it’s the place where I found peace “

A slow smile spread on her face , she started to stroke his hair with her hands . A soothing smile spread on his face too .

“Love, if you want to know about Sayantika then I’ll tell….

“Shh!! She put her finger on his lips “ I don't need any explanation. If you even like her not even that“

He smiled “ No, she wasn't. You are the first and last who give me the vibes of love. “

Sanyogita stroked his head on her lap.

“You know na, our gang how they tease. Sayantika I didn't even remember her. But tonight I recalled, yes, they used to tease me by her name but I was too small during those days. I don't have any feelings for her, not even an infatuation. If I already experienced that then, why did I realise my feelings for you lately ? I feel blessed you are the only one, You are the one who opens the door and you are the last who has a right to close it” he took her hand and kissed her there.

She glared at him and nodded her head with a calm smile “But why were you ignoring Arjun’s call then?”

“I frightened for a moment, today due to my stupid prank you hurt a lot, so I thought maybe you’ll hurt once more as since past few days you’re mood changes abruptly “ He complaint in such a manner Sanyogita thought as if a kid complaining to his bestfriend .

“But how could I ?? I trust you more than everyone “ her finger was caressing his hairs

“ That’s why sometimes it scares me. I don't know love, I have a recent dream that you have gone so long away from me, you can’t hear me, not even you are opening your eyes, I'm scared. Sometimes my own instinct tells me I’ll be the reason for your ….

“Of my?” she asked softly with eagerness

He paused then after thinking something continued “Love promise me, you don't leave me, not this time if you want to go then take me with you too” Prithvi’s heart become heavy

Sanyogita nodded her head with a soothing smile “No, never, where I’ll go without my Dumbo .” she stroked her hand through his hairs.

He kissed her hand. Sanyogita understood something was bothering him even though he didn't know what exactly that was. She prayed to God. this time don’t snatch any closer one away from her. She lost her parents and Granny but right now couldn't lose anyone. She was even ready to give her life to keep them alive, which she wasn't able to do for her family.

“Sanyo, will you love our children more than me ?”Prithvi asked few minutes of silence

She looked at him perplexed “Prithvi, suddenly what happened to you tonight ?”

“No, I need an answered ?”” His voice seemed heavy

Sanyogita gave him a calming smile and continued “Okay, tell me how will you differentiate between football and me ?”’

He looked at her surprised then a smile crept on his lips,, as this cross-questioning side always attract him more to her “Hmm…if Football is my reason to breathe then you are my reason to heartbeats, perhaps I can hold my breath for a few minutes but I can’t stop my heartbeat for a second until death “

Though the word death pierced her chest however she didn't remark against it , not tonight, instead said “you give my answer “

He looked at her with a gap to continue.

“ Our children will become the reason for my breathing still you remain my heartbeats. I can’t stop my heart from beating, not even for just a second .”

Sanyogita’s Mehendi ceremony began. She was wearing a colourful ocean green lehenga and a red blouse with a red dupatta hanging over her shoulder.

Everyone was teasing her seeing the dark red colour of her Mehendi on her palms . When the Mehendi artist was about to write the name of Prithvi on her hands , Poonam, Meghna , Maya everyone teased by the name of Localgunda, followed by Dumbo, Mr.Captain, localgunda .

Sanyogita blushed at the comments of each lady. Prithvi was even there too, the men were too teasing him Arjun, Dharam, Raghav teased him in the name of Chipkali, Complaint box,Jhagradlu “

Then when they slipped out the romantic name “Love “with which Prithvi frequently addressed her, Sanyogita and Prithvi both were immersed under shyness.

The Mehendi artists were too giggling witnessing such love between the Captain of the national football team and Sanyogita .Even the bonding of their friendships enlightens the mood of the crowd in the ceremony.

The ceremony was held in the same resort of engagement, all the guests too were gathered there. With laughing, teasing, leg-pullling, Prithvi noticed one kind of uneasiness in Sanyogita

“Hey , where you are lost ?”’

“Prithvi, it’s too late, Devika and Pallavi have not come yet. I couldn't even find Dr.Shalini Aunty since the evening !” she was looking sad

“Relax, maybe Shalini Aunty will be in her room. But have you talked with Devika? you told me her mobile was unreachable ?”

“Yeah, I have but I haven't talked with her since last night !”Sanyogita was looking disappointed.

All of a sudden, the Police came there. Seeing them everyone got up in shock and suddenly whispering spread across the crowd .

“Dr.Sanyogita Agarwal, this is ACP Kunal Bhowmik, crime branch “ A police officer stood in front of her “ sorry to disturb you right now but it’s urgent. Miss Devika Senapati is no more, we came here for the investigation of her death “

Hearing the news , there was a pause . The ground below the feet of Sanyogita shifted to another corner of her world. Prithvi was too shocked. Even Dharam, Meghna were glancing at each other . Arjun, Raghav, Poonam, Maya everyone was looking at Police with a gap in their mouth.

Prithvi's parents were too present there.

Police continued after an instant of silence “ Today in the morning one couple who visited there for the tour informed the news, near the cliffside we found the body of Miss Devika Senapati . We investigated the exact reason behind it, did it just a simple accident or a suicidal case or perhaps a pre-planned murder ? . We checked her last call list and it showed two numbers. One was Dr. Sanyogita and another one was her mother. We traced the call to reach you !”

Whatever ACP Kuntal said, Sanyogita could hardly register in her brain. She lost her speech.

Prithvi who said besides Sanyogita asked “But how she fell from the cliff?””

“Mr. Captain Prithviraj Adhikary , we are coming here to get few information so we can find the exact things , that’s why we need to talk with your fiance “ ACP Kuntal asserted

Sanyogita said with a trembling voice “ I dialled her mobile number several times, but it said unreachable “ she was verge on broken

Prithvi nodded his head in agreement “ yes , she is right . she even told me about it “

Kuntal was hearing them with deep concentration .

Sanyogita could hardly talk, her eyes were on the verge of tears “ Her last WhatsApp seen status show 1 day ago !”

Prithvi supported her in his arms without carrying the crowd seeing her broken stage.

“Dr. Agarwal controls your emotions . “But how do you know Miss Devika , was she your long-distance friend ?”Kuntal inquiry more “

Sanyogita wept her tears and started to elaborate on everything . At the end, Kuntal was mute as if something was running through his brain .

Dharam said in the middle “ Prithvi, I have a gut feeling Raunak is behind this “

Prithvi frowned “ but how could he ?? after all, he is behind jail right now !””

“No, Mr. Captain , Mr. Raunak Khurana is now under the bail , four days ago his lawyer took out him from the loo up “Kuntal informed

Everyone was shocked .

“I’m damn sure , that Raunak that bloody culprit behind it “ Dharam clenched his teeth

Everyone noticed the hatred in the accent of Dharam . Prithvi was now convinced

Why would Rounak hurt Devika? He wanted revenge from Sanyo.

It was funny watching the jealousy and Prithvi's pacifying when all the past girls were coming to light.

Again read last few parts in a go... And I thoroughly enjoyed the friends teasing and masti things.!!

Always love this jealousy track, let it be in any story but jealousy is something to feel adorable about in a coupe.!!

This new Sanyogita was something really cute, the way she tried to woo Prithvi with her new avatar, uff...

So finally the wedding rituals started and now a new mystery is there to unfold.

Though this story is remaining with few chapters, still I wish it woukd never end.!!

But it's true love gives you that temperament & it's at times hard to control your emotions & anger which is justified 👍

Chalo alls well that ends well 👍 jhagda khatam hua & both were calm now but sudden emotional state of Prithvi indicted that he us still struggling with his emotions that he will loose her Sanyogita 😔

So Mehndi function has started & there is hustle bustle around with guests & friends enjoying the party now ☺ but Sanyogita is in tension for Devika as she hadn't spoken to her 🤨

Well it comes out to be true after police arrival & now DEVIKA ke suicide ka pata chalta hai & all are extremely shocked ... Let's see ye kisne kiya hai
