For me the red flag was when he refused to let her eat, during the ZA fight over Pulkit's lunch. Worst way to show your power over a human or any living being for that matter.

Same here. This was my first too. As much as I was horrified after his throwing the food on the ground action, I literally wanted to bang his head on the wall when he called Patralekha his pyaari cheez in front of Sai and continued talking shit about their marriage and portraying it as being Sai's mistake. This was also the first sign of his victim mentality and his superficial goodness. The facade was destroyed the moment he started counting all the things his benevolent self has done for Sai.

I don't remember how I had come to let go of that scene and continued loving Virat but now to think of it, he didn't really apologise for his actions that time. If I remember correctly, he had just said, "main gussa nahi tha Sai, mujhe gussa dilaya gaya tha." Whatever that meant

For me, the final nail in the coffin was the ousting scene after DevKit marriage. From that scene onwards Virat wasn't the same for me. 🤔
