I guess, Drs, 98% of them have warm nature while treating their patient. To assure them of getting cured, recovered. Then they are cut off, move to the next patient with same warmth.

Dipika handled Vikrant in similar manner. If she was stern with him, he would have started on his drug trip again, putting Dipika in big trouble. She dealt him with patience. While handing him house keys, she was thinking for few moments. Its human to feel connected in weak moments to one's ex due to past memories. Vikrant is playing a dirty game of slowly ruining her career. Hence maintaining a distance while showing concern for him is her aim, as a Dr's nature. She wants him to get cured soon & keep away. She is smart enough to not ruin her career for him.
