Honestly speaking except for really good acting...talmatal 3 din was pretty anticlimatic towards the end...the only contribution storywise has been that maybe Sid has gained some perspective on his feelings and will hopefully move forward

Zeebangla will have to reshift their focus if they want to retain Mithai on top

Honestly I had expected Parvati's death will have an impact on Mithai's character.. She'll become a ltl more mature, like still ToofanMail but a bit controlled.. You know like she'll remember what her parents unfulfilled dreams were (like her father's dream of own business n her mother's incapability of providing her education) n will share them with Sid..

But they ruin everything whenever it comes to Mithai.. She remained in depression state for few days n then went back to her former state right after a song.. This is the problem with Mithai Team... The song seq was beautiful but Mithai recovering from trauma was done in ToofanMail ispeed instead of gradual process..

They have ample time for SidMit same repeated fight n khusnsuti n Mithai imitating Sid but don't have time for proper execution of Mithai moving on from grief..

Now I honestly don't understand why Parvati Aunty's sudden demise was needed except for the fact that Sid left everything for Mithai n Tess became the Boss.. Sid's character progression has been happening slowly n gradually in a beautiful process.. But Mithai - nothing..

But I must say last few epi s were really good. I loved Sid's character growth...and at same time cudnt like Mithai's no growth

@bold - Yes...the character development in this show as it stands today makes no sense. Mithai has not evolved much beyond becoming the Modak barir bou whose one constant in life is apparently make cha for everyone all day every day. Professionally she has graduated from being a Misthiwali to becoming a Karmachari...big whoop 👎🏼

Sid's emotional growth has been significant I agree but again I don't understand this notion that in order to be "heppy" in life you have to squelch your professional ambitions. I actually agreed with Tess today when she questioned him whether he is genuinely happy for her or not.

In fact, objectively speaking the characters that have moved forward the most are actually Som and Torsha. Not just in terms of career success but also in their personal lives. They have never faced any significant repercussions for their wrongdoings and continue to do as they please without much protest. In other circumstances, I would be happy to see the portrayal of a female character getting such a prominent leadership position in the corporate world but here in the lalaland of Mithai you either have to be a manipulative shrew or a selfish wet blanket to progress...everybody else is too busy playing "heppy" family to care much about anything else 😔

Yep we are here for a long time discussing this show but like EsotericBird said nowadays it has become more like a frustration thread coz of such slow to zero progression in storyline..

Well I don't exactly agree with this point that if Sid realize that he has fallen for Mithai, story te r kichu thakbena.. Coz honestly it's been one year already n Sid should realize his feelings for Mithai which is happening slowly n steadily.. His journey from the 1st day Sid to today's Sid has been a beautiful gradual process.. But when it comes to Mithai, the team has no patience, no foundation, everything just happens all at once...

About Mithai's education, it's like those projects which are much discussed n hyped but never starts 🙄 In the beginning Dadai decided to start this project but months passed n nothing happened n then Dadur Naati decided to start the project but then again months passed n yet nothing happened...

About Sid's character growth like I said it's happening gradually n very nicely.. But I don't think he's pushing his career to back seat, he's just making his priority according to situation.. Sid was ready to leave PCG yesterday coz of Tess's rude behavior until Mithai told him that Tess is new to this position n she'll need help of Sid n team.. Earlier he was only focused on career but he was unhappy.. Now he is focused on both job n family relationship..

About family being genuinely happy or not for Tess, I believe most of them are.. Few (like Nanda coz that's what I felt) might not be completely happy coz of Tess's behavior.. Honestly we too want Tess to fail in her job coz of her selfish n egotistic nature ... We too would have celebrated her victory if she had been a genuine person like the other career oriented women like Sree, Mithai, Dhara or even a guest character like Satty..

Yess Omi Agarwals entry is a very good sign 🤩 This show needs some good dramatic twists and hopefully the Agarwals coming back will bring that back 👍🏼The actor playing Omi is also quite popular so things should be interesting

I pray that the arson case and Som and Torsha's involvement is brought to the forefront again

For now I think Omi will create some drama at Dadai's award ceremony or the opening of Mishti hub

People are already making a big deal about Omi not calling Mithai bhabhiji...but I don't think they will introduce a jealousy track for Mithai with an Agarwal

The Rimli ML and FL are now part of diffrnt shows, as that show didnt get any foothold.

I actually kind of liked this Omi Agarwal character, hope they groom him well to be a good villain. Liked his dialogue "bhabiji bolte icche korche na"😆
