I don't have anything against any certain channel or person but you can't tell me shows like Parizaad, Sinf-e-Aahan, etc didn't cross 20M this quick but a show with a mostly-daily soap actress and nepo kid did?

And also another cheap trick of GEO is showing IMDB rating in thumbnail... when a show only has such few reviews obv rating'll be high.. it's just tactic to pretend the show is so amazing like dil e momin having 8.6 is a joke LMFAO

Geo is slowly losing it's ground with ye harkatein
HUM/ARY are soon going to take 90% of the urban audience while geo will be stuck on misogyny and women-beating soaps for life

That entire dhokha twist could've been covered in the first hour itself, then the second half would've been better. I felt that the writers left a lot on us to understand by ourselves. Like we were supposed to understand the dynamics between Rohail and Zooni's family...instead they could have given us one or two scenes with context. Same goes with Salar's childhood. It felt way too misplaced and jagged.

We've also had longass films in India, but the writers don't let us feel its draggy or boring. Instead they cover every aspect and keep it enjoyable.

I remember there was an interview of Danish where he mentioned that Pakistan does not have many writers for films yet...so that could be the issue, TV and films are very different technically.

Baap re itna drama 🤣 Faltu mein why put the viewer in a tizzy. I thought Salaar was a total d**k if they got intimate but turns out exaggeration ki bhi limit hai 🤣

Bro the telefilm was fast paced for me. Hard to keep up. So i had no issue with the loopholes and things not being clearly shown and left to the imagination

But the ending was the worst part. If her mother was gonna send her off with Salar, she couldve done it during the confrontation before the marriage. Who the heck tells their daughter to run away in the middle of her wedding? Kuch bhi! So illogical that was.

Even Salars whole accident drama was not necessary in the climax. They couldve reunited without it. That was so predictable.

Maybe his father wants him to be a movie star. I think it is a good idea. Most of tv stars don't fit in movies , because of their availiability on tv screens, so who will pay to watch them in cinemas!😕

Kinza has a scoop of improvement. She is beautifull, and has a lovely voice.. she is bold off screen, so maybe she can do better in future.
