Yeah. Shiva was super devoted to Sati devi. He was so heart broken and the world was doomed I guess. 💔

And when Parvati tried to get his attention, he wouldn't budge at all.

Last time when abhimanyu was meditating during molestation case- akshara came to his rescue to save him from molestation and he didn't want her to come in order for her name to not be spoilt. So this time also would agree to get married for akshu but akshu will come and save him again from this marriage as precap shows akshara ke haat Mai hai ab 3 lives ka barbaad hona ya nai.

I think the second one so as to redeem Akshara's mahanta. Till now abhimanyu has been shown doing everything. Maybe this time Akshara will speak up for the relationship.

I know this story, its beautiful.

I am shiv follower myself and hence aware , so he was worried that this story should not be repeated with them.

Arohi is never a parvati. That scene can be interpreted as Ak takes the burns for Abhimanyu saving his prestige. I feel it's going against Arohi her family.

See that's where i thought they were going with that weird scene - that his memory was coming back. But yeah I was lost with all the Shiva Sati allusions (sometimes if I don't understand the words or context, I wait till Hulu puts the English subtitles in the next day but I try not to do that too much since the whole point of my watching these shows is to keep up on my Hindi 😆)

Hahaha. We are constantly unlearning. Decolonisation is still not complete when the academic discourse is still so western dominated. I mean it's not easy in India, so in the US, it has to be more difficult.
