As Sanjana Dubey was walking towards the stairs that would take her towards perhaps the most dreaded moment of her life, thousands of thoughts were going on in her mind about her identity and Siddharth, but the one thought that was predominant was that she had to do what she had to do even if it came at the cost of her life, her love and her ambition. One would ask why she would take such a decision knowing very well that doing so would kill her soul. There was only one very simple reason, her baapu! Her baapu went against everyone to fulfil her wishes since her early age be it her schooling or training. Now was the time to repay everything he did to make her happy. And for that, she was even ready to break the heart of that one man who loves and gets her like nobody else ever did. Yes, Special Agent Sanjana Dubey was about to do the bravest yet most heartless thing she has ever done in her entire life.
She herself doesn't know when she fell for this man-child whom she once considered only a chirkut. Aur ye pyaar hua bhi toh aise that the feeling has taken over her being completely so much so that each step that she is taking towards their love spot, the terrace of the academy, is paining and breaking her far more than anything she has experienced before. Yet, she had to drink this slow poison and her face her soulmate- yes that's what he was to her- only to break his heart for he of all people deserves to know the truth and the absolute truth! As it is she was already far too late in telling her about her engagement, the least she could do was give him a complete explanation now.
As she entered the terrace, Sanju found a broken Siddharth there waiting for her. In his eyes laid incomprehension’s, questions, pain and even anger. Mustering all her courage, Sanju began by apologizing sincerely for her delay in telling him her truth and for how he had to find out as well. Unsurprisingly, the only reaction she got from him was mockery, she never said sorry with the hope to be forgiven anyway; she knew that was too much too soon. Her purpose was only to let him know her feelings. After a few seconds of painful silence, Sanju heard a hurt voice ask: "Why? Why him? Why not me?" Gulping, Sanju replied helplessly: "if only I was the one choosing Siddhant, I would have chosen you a million times, but hamari aisi kismat kahan? Hum jiss duniya se aye hain, wahan ladikiyon ko khud apne zindagi ke faisle lene ka haq nahi hain. Hum nahi chunn sakte tujhe apne maa baapu par, itni himmat na hain maare mein. Humein har haal mein ye vivah karna hain, hum chahe ya na chahe aur yehi hamari zindagi ka sach hain, Siddharth. Sab se bada aur karwa sach mei. Hum bas ye batane aye the tujhe. Hum aur tum iss baat ko jitna jaldi maan le, hamare liye utna hi accha hoga. Ab humein jaana hoga, Siddhant".
As Sanjana turned her back to leave, Siddharth held her hands firmly to stop her. When sanju turned to detach them from his grip, she met with two pairs of pleading eyes saying: "ruk jao na plz.". Ending the unbearable distance between them, he lovingly held her face in his hands and pleaded yet again: "Ek baar boldo that you love me." Seeing an ocean of love for her in his eyes, an already vulnerable Sanju gave in temporarily and decided to gift herself and Siddharth this moment if not anything else. Right here, right now, she could be herself completely, she could be only Sid's Sanju and gift both of them a moment of intimacy, something that would belong to them only. With that in mind, Sanjana pulled Siddhant towards her by his collar and initiated a passionate kiss. Siddharth's initial shock very fastly turned into desperation to feel as much of her as he possibly could. Soon, clothes were out of the way as two lovers began to explore each other's bodies eagerly, but with a slow pace, both trying to capture every touch and caress for they knew this moment will never come again. Cum morning, Sanju woke up only to find herself engulfed in Sid's arms, both his arms and legs wrapped around her. He looked so peaceful and cute while sleeping that her hands automatically raised to caress his adorable face as she began to look at him lovingly for the last time. Even at the risk of waking him up, she couldn't prevent herself from placing a chaste kiss on his lips. But after that, Sanjana knew that the forbidden moment she had stolen since last night was over, it was time to return to her real and cruel world. But at least now she is leaving with this precious memory, one which she would be able to reminisce to feel happy at the hell she was going to. With the satisfaction of filling their love spot with lifetime memories, Sanju left with her lifeless body, leaving her heart and soul behind with the one she was meant to be in another lifetime.

Mohan Nanhi scenes were always a treat to watch but Mohan Megha scenes uff!! They were next level! The proposal scene where Megha proposes Mohan and the hug ufff!! I still remember the chaos in the forum after that episode!!
These scenes bring back so much memories!! I loved the show!! I miss it still now even after 10 years!!
