I remember similar thing happened during Pavitra Rishta too. Archana was shown in coma for months, there were issues between Ankita & Ekta/Zee. Then Gautami was finalized to replace her and she even started shooting for the show but Ekta always wanted Ankita in the show back so she convinced her somehow.
