This time it's him who has gone back to square one in their relationship. It seems like he is trying to hurt her somehow. He would need a lot of redemption on his part to convince Priya now.

Read somewhere on twitter that according to a leaked script Brinda, Adi tell Ram that the whole preparation was done by Priya and he gets to know from Sara that the cake was made by Priya especially for him after which the dance between Ram and Priya happens
