And about lust, he does not lust her or anything, he wanted a fully wholesome commitment from her but the way he expresses himself is the problem here, if you notice today he waited for her to complete her prayers and I am sure somehow or the other way Dua will again win the fight and not go to honeymoon during Ramadan. It is more like Mustajab can argue, fight, do crazy things, but he still gives her an upperhand unknowingly, because he thinks he is the one dominating her while from where I see, Dua controls his actions and him more than he can imagine. That is my opinion though.

I am pretty sure there is lust involved here..Dua became some kind of an unattainable person for him and hence he wanted to "acquire" her at all cost. She was possibly the first girl to reject him and that hurt his ego..also the scene where he lowkey threatens his mom that nobody will come between him and Dua..that was scary.

As far as the theme of this show is concerned - its bang on point and I am actually enjoying this show - after the first two episodes, I was like meh..depth isnt there..but the next couple of episodes changed my mind - it is an interesting show which keeps you on tenterhooks..I am keen on watching it and how it unfolds, but I will not give Musti a pass, when he seems to be a control freak and probably is like Christian Grey in the limited manner in which they can portray him in a pak drama..I give thumbs up to the writer..This might after all, be the Khuda ki Mohabbat that we wanted to see in KAM.

Also I dont love Dua either..she is too idealistic and even annoying to an extent..I want some more flashbacks to see what connected her so deeply to her God

This show is becoming a meme online. People are making fun of some of the scenes especially the strange fake accents Feroze puts on 😆

I second you in everything you’ve said.. I don’t think so Mustajab deserve any benefit of doubt till now, he’s lying, manipulating and doing things which is problematic, and this has been sketched so well that you do want to see that now what? Like just 8th episode and he’s so crazy, can he get worse or will we see sth else?

It’s just for some reason I understand Mustajab’s craziness more than Dua’s idealism here, I’m not saying I support him but onscreen Dua is annoying at times, as Charu said sometimes Mustajab is very basic in demands but I don’t understand Dua, she loves him or what? Why did she marry him without knowing everything and now behaving like his atheism came as a shocker to her? Why didn’t she talk to him about religion before saying yes? He talked about how he didn’t know about the concept of mehram so Dua had good enough reasons to talk about his religious values, but she didn’t, so out of place it’s..

I’m loving the show too, and yeah it has picked up in the plot which looks like a bold concept. I’m glad Feroze did this one after KAM3, first because both Farhad and Mustajab are poles apart and second it’s more about finding religion than finding Love .

Feroze really showed such a great gesture here, I am so happy to see this. Hope Ahmed responds back.
