Okay so can I start by saying that Akshara is looking prettier with each passing day. I think with all the pain that she is enduring and still manages to smile and brighten other’s life is making her more and more like a crystal.
She danced for Abhimanyu but this meant more than just a song-dance performance for Abhimanyu. All he wants is to be close to her. He wants her in front of his eyes at all times. His love is both pure and selfish. His love for her makes him feel alive yet also burning him.
Why did he go and get her by force?
To make Akshara do something one does not have to force her. You ask her softly and she will do whatever others want. Time and again this has been her nature. So I have been thinking about this why writers would make Abhimanyu treat her that way? He has to show his macho image some place else not in front of her.
He is constantly being irresponsible but she is as stable and calm as before.
She made the decision to go with him without creating a drama. In spite of her sister asking her not to dance, she did for, and sided with Abhimanyu.
Bole chudiya, bole kangana,
hay mein ho gayi teri saajna
This song has no place or meaning in the situation but was added for some reason that I am unable to place yet.
Its a beautiful, 20yrs old song. There are many beautiful songs that could have fit the engagement theme as well as #Abira situation.
Abhi dancing with Akshara came as a surprise to her too. He really wanted to express through the song that he is only meant for her. And she pulled her sister between them. In return he brought his mother.
Both of them show each other for whom they are doing what they are doing.
Have you ever scene a handkerchief game in a wedding? A picnic game was put in the middle of an engagement tells me how nonsensical this sham of an engagement is.
But even in that Abhimanyu interferes, makes Akshara win, thus a symbol that whatever she wishes he will make her win.
So all she has to do is wish and he will make it happen.
The only thing that she cannot wish or do is keep Abhimanyu away from herself. At every given opportunity he is next to her. And being in close proximity with Abhimanyu is affecting Akshara. Her resolve is weakening and cracks that have been there for a long time are beginning to show. Since Arohi’s tilak Akshara has somehow been able to show semblance of calmness. She knows how to hide her tears in front of people, and she does not let anyone see her distress. She finds a private corner to calm herself. Just like she did during the Christmas party. But the wounds are opening and this time they are deeper.
Neil as the loving younger brother of Abhimanyu and a good friend to Akshara asked her bluntly, have you gone mad?
Neil sees Akshara and asks her why is she deny herself n Abhi, when they love each other. But she refuses to talk about it and rushes for the ring ceremony. He knows more than everyone else how much Akshara cares and does for Abhimanyu and his family. Every time she needs helps has reach out to Neil. You all know about the hibiscus flower oil.
Akshara has trust issues.
She is unable to talk to Kairav at all. She constantly keeps lying to him about how she feels. Since the Tilak fiasco she has lost the grip about who is her confidante.
Once she realized that Birla’s wanted Arohi as Abhimanyu’s bride she has not forgiven them. And that her family did not clear the matter with the Birla’s has resulted in scaring Akshara.
She is unable to understand why no one supported her. Why no one asked her about what she felt about the misunderstanding. And when she saw the confidence on Aarohi’s face she was taken aback.
That memory is etched on her memory.
Abhi’s love for her became pale in front of both the families expectations and her sister’s wish.
And however much Abhimanyu tried to make her see what they have together. She feels her love for him is hopeless.
Since she saw him bring the proposal for her sister something has hardened inside her. She looked at the pieces of her shattered heart and she looked around at the happy faces of her family members and the Birlas. This was the right thing!
She was determined to support the family, to be with her sister who was finally treating her as a family. She found her peace in the happiness of her loved ones.
So she is unable to understand why is he mentally torturing her now. It was his decision.
And Aarohi had told Ak laying in the hospital bed if she married Abhi then she will leave and be considered dead. Akshara could never let that happen. She had already lived away from home and did not wish that for her sister. Ak needed her sister. This was her promised to her dying mother.
But the pain that she feels within her because of Abhi is a different kind. She tried hard to fight it, ignore it, bury it. But it only kept increasing.
It's only symbolic that the Male engagement ring is lost and Akshara finds it. The look of hurt, shock and accusation with which Abhimanyu looked at Ak.
He was ready to murder or die in that moment.
But his revenge was complete looking at Akshara’s visible yearning in pain when she saw his injured bleeding ring finger. She knew he had injured himself to avoid the engagement.
She was the first one who was concerned about tending his wound. Even his mother was all about engagement first instead of her son’s injured finger. What kind of mother is that? I never knew.
The mother, cousins, fiancé everyone is concerned about something other than Abhimanyu’s hurt.
It is Akshara who voices the concerned when the raita mata says main bhi yahi Kehne walli thi!! Really? Kehne ki nahi you should have been the first to go to him with first aid instead of engagement. Shows your true colors dummy.
The only conversation Abhimanyu has with Aarohi, “Dr. Arohi, I know better, mein karta hun.” nothing to say here.
The only person whom he will never say no is his Gharelu Doctor. She will do her little magic with home remedies. But the one treatment he has been begging her for she will not offer him.
Abhimanyu forcefully brought the girl to his engagement and made her participate in the celebration thinking, he will be able to break her resolve. But he has no idea that this girl has endured so much of heart break and separation coping since childhood that this new heartbreak although is sucking her whole being yet she will endure it because of the one promise she gave as a child.
“Gharelu doctor…. Please is dil ke dard ko khatam karo… aur bardaast nahi hota.” How much more can he beg of her!
He is lonely and broken.
He is in pain and desperate.
He is calling out for help. And only she can save him.
And the stern heart who can give him some respite refuses to budge.
Ladkion ke pimple se leke, ladkon ki gair zimmedari tak ka ek hi ilaaj hai.
I understand many are upset with this dialogue thrown at Abhimanyu. But she is not wrong its a dark joke at the society. Sarcasm often forces people to think.
Akshara is hurt and she has to let him know. He did not have to get married, at least not to her sister. So if he has take that decision whatever is his reason he needs to stand by it.
It is her sister he is asking to ditch and she will not do so for him. Because Aarohi is her family, her sister.
She is constantly telling him that if he makes her choose she will always choose family.
She is not a quitter she is a warrior, she is strong and she believes in doing the right thing.
He has to look, search hard and find the right path that will lead him to her.
Akshara does not sit and cry. She wipes tears of her loved ones and others. She is determined and comes up with solutions to help her loved ones.
Abhimanyu on the other hand either cries or has only made it more difficult for her to cope.
He has to calm himself and look for solutions.
Before the solution he need to pinpoint the problem.
He has help on his side.
Neil, Manjari and Shefali is also on his side.
Keeping fingers crossed for the gorgeous couple.
I have a feeling with all the drama that is happening in his life once akshara becomes a part of his life he will still have a hard time sharing her with anyone.
His sole purpose will be to keep her all for himself. And that could be a jealousy track for Manjari. 🤣
