He is the CENTRAL CHARACTER OF THE PLOT...

I do not understand what is sleazy in between a husband-wife romantic conversation, and Dua very much is having a consensual dynamic with him right now, and as far as robes are concerned, you expect him to be in bedroom in suits? 😆

I agree he is an anti hero, he is supposed to be the central protagonist who is an anti hero, it is not rocket science to understand that aspect of the story.

He will lose Dua and that is the premise of the plot, so if you are worried then I am sorry, because losing Dua is a given, he will end up with Khaak, but I guess the theme is more about not winning Dua but winning the faith and belief in his existence and refreshment of his soul, the concept is more about can a non believer restore his belief system through harsh life lessons?

And about lust, he does not lust her or anything, he wanted a fully wholesome commitment from her but the way he expresses himself is the problem here, if you notice today he waited for her to complete her prayers and I am sure somehow or the other way Dua will again win the fight and not go to honeymoon during Ramadan. It is more like Mustajab can argue, fight, do crazy things, but he still gives her an upperhand unknowingly, because he thinks he is the one dominating her while from where I see, Dua controls his actions and him more than he can imagine. That is my opinion though.

I like shakila aunty . And her tips to dua😆

I am sure she won't follow them

Dua should have married imam saabs son or someone..smiley36

Red flag again.. musti hates dayi. Ab isko na maar dena mere bhai

I am scared about Musti killing Dayi, baki sab I am enjoying, mujhe bohot sara duniya ko aag lagadene wala situaton dekhna hai lekin pls dayi ko na maar de.. I am scared..

Shakila aunty is the worst, she pretends she is holier than thou and scolds Musti but she dragged him down to the mess by making that lie.. Stupid woman. Dua anyway does not care about Mustajab and his demands, she does what she wants, pata nahi Dua ko abhitak mohabbat hai ya she is just doing it for sake of her duties, but I felt she does love him the way she said that 'aapki shadeed mohabbat dekh ke mai haar jati hu', that was so ❤️

I feel Musti-Dua would have a saner relationship minus shakila aunty and Dua ka bhai, jhagra kabhi hota hi nahi 🤣

HAHAHAHA🤣

Jokes apart, the twirling part was honest, he did talk out of love and so did she

The twirl and the mohabbat ka waada, kaash ye tragedy show nahi hota yaar, kyu har waqt Feroze ko hi aise tragedies naseeb hote hai, kabhi bhi happy show nahi milta except Romeo weds Heer and Dil kya kare and to an extent Tumse milkay.

By the way did you guys notice, Dua behaves so cleverly, like she was taunting him ke akele reh payenge, and somehow convinces him to go to the mosque?😆.. It was so cute, even shakila made fun of Musti going to mosque, sab musti ko zabardasti molvi banake chorenge 😎🤣

And Dua ki parents ka kuch kaam nahi kya, shaadi ke agle subeh kon aata hai saasural, it should be the other way round, like usually in our house, shaadi ke agle subeh ko ladki ka house invite ladka family for dinner, here they came mooh uthake aivey? Ye kuch weird laga mujhe..

Last but not the least, seems like Mustajab has unlocked the achievement and given Dua some great sex, both were glowing in the morning after and had a satisfactory smile and significant intimacy.. Congratulations to Bobby Gray Mister 🤪🥳

haan bhai. Rocket science tou nahi, Lekin humei tou science mei hamesha kum marks hi milte the.

My point is the minute, I know he is an anti hero, I can’t take him seriously as a man who loves his wife in let’s say the conventional sense of the term, which makes me question the heroine too. To her, she rolls her eyes, questions his intentions only after he fails to keep his promises, whereas for a jaded woman like me, there were red flags the whole time - from his cheesy lines, to his overdone accent to open robes. Promise tak baat hi nahi aati, which therefore makes the story even more interesting.

Then to me, it’s no more question of consent, or unequal - it’s a question of balance. In a way if the male lead is anti hero, for today’s world, the woman is also an anti heroine. If he uses suave tactics, she is easily swayed. If he is being stubborn and listens to no one, she is being naive and listens to everyone. So then, if the bg music for him is ominous, the bg music for her actions must match that too. The romantic scenes are beautifully shot on two beautiful actors, no doubt, but the depth of their unbalanced characters is somewhere lost in face of that beauty.

In fact, I am giving kudos to the maker for those scenes in which our male lead wears robes and she is in full garbs, it’s a sleaze scene, it’s not supposed to be romance in its conventional sense, it’s not about consent. It is about imbalance, well done makers!

For me, as long as they keep the storyline about this imbalance and both of their journey towards the balance - towards the center, I will watch, the minute I see they are making this about she being pure and wronged and he being punished for his sins, they have lost my interest.
I am tired of right stretched to righteousness and wrong stretched to almost demonic, and yet only the almost demonic must change his ways but the righteousness remains indignant. That’s been over done,

shakila auntys character is unknown. Thy want to show her with pure intentions , to help his son get what he wants even by lies deceit..what's pure in it ? She knows it's going south. Very soon musti will explode and dua will be heartbroken . I guess in the next episode she knows / overhears mother and son talking , and all the lies served .

Problem I find with dua is , does she love mustajab or not ? I feel she doesn't love him at all..its all about "fulfilling the duties of a wife ..that's sex , dinners , dates , children followed by the responsibility of bringing up the children " . Her promises were bland 😆 So that makes me think, does a religious girl not love a guy in a conventional way bec her first and last love is Allah? This character confuses me. Which newly wed behaves like this ? N specially when she has a man like mustajab swooning over her ? Usko toh apni bhed bakri se zyada attachment hai mustajab se. From where I see , she has zero emotional connect to mustajab.

Sometimes I feel mustajabs "demands" are basic . He expects dua to love him bk in equally passionate way, where they r lost in each other and third person doesn't exist. Yes of course he is extreme when he doesn't want any human near dua , even her family and brother , that's toxic . His love is obsessed and suffocating . Mustajab ka samajh aata hai.

I don't understand dua's family as well..btw the girls side brings breakfast to the boys side next Day of marriage, this I have seen in many shows..its a ritual..so it's ok if they visited. Haan toh ..dua's mother keeps crying "they will take dua away from us" ..what does that even mean? Dua is not being caged ..after shadi all girls have to live separate from parents. Yes they should be worried about the lies of mustajab and his family bec that's a big red flag.

Duas mom is talking about emotional distance I guess which happens when spouse isn't on good terms with in laws.. Like he won't stop her from meeting family but it will be only her visiting maika meaning she won't get to stay for long...

This show began like both moms were good friends.. I can't see that bond! If shakila is a friend doesn't duas mom know about their religious views... ? Like he isn't aware of Ramadan also.. Too libral?

Shakilas upbringing is too bad especially since she wants his son to follow religion.. Like she wants the bahu to tame her son or what?? It's a moms duty not wife's

Dua's family treats Dua as a fragile girl and Dua also acts very naïve.

Musta is also extreme.. it seems two characters are completely opposite. No common ground for them😕

I guess that heart attack was also Shakila Aunties acting....

She is a very selfish mom, and Musta is not in love, he is just obsessed mental case.

Yeah..that's a valid issue..

@bold. Couldn't agree more....girls have their own set of inhibitions when they marry into a new family ..to burden them with expectations of changing their spoilt brats is unfair.
