Abhi is concern about his mother's health. If Neil tells Manjari about what happened she will feel guilty that she forced her son into this marriage that he does not want to do. Which is the truth.

Abhi cannot handle upsetting his mother when all this drama came about to get him engaged to Arohi in the first place. Akshara is still quiet about her feelings so he cannot even say I don't want to marry Arohi but Akshara has confessed and we want to get married.

Plus there will be a big fight over Abhi trying to break the rishta at his own house especially with Harshvardhan and the Goenkas will not take this lightly. That then also screws up any path for Abhi to get with Akshara in the future.

Akshu is so pure that she don't need to put any effort or steal anything or lie to get anything like aarohi. What is hers will be hers and the girl goes with that flow

It's his life he don't feel anything for Aarohi, he shouldn't be marrying her. Ak won't confess that's a different story.
