I love love the concept of the show. The storyline does have many many holes, especially the fact that in today’s time and age, if religion is important for a girl (or for that matter a boy) they make sure that the person they are marrying is equally on board.

But for a minute if we were to take that out of the equation, the concept is really deep. But yes, I do hope that they somehow show a middle path and not one is better than the other, that would be unfortunate and frankly a meh ending.

Ok I know I may be in the minority but I do think the actor who plays Mustajab is over the top acting ki dukaan, especially his American accent is way over done and his poses and body movements are frankly contrived, they often border on sleazy, and not sexy at all. I apologize to his fans in advance, nothing against the actor. I remember seeing him in another show with two sisters where he loves the older one in college and he marries the younger one (Ishqiya?!) and I really liked him in that one. It’s here he is too over the top. Unless, they are trying to show that those who have so much restlessness within them because of lack of religion (spirituality) tend to be reckless and sleazy!! - if that is the case, then I would be kind of disappointed.

I am enjoying the tehraav acting of the actor who plays her brother.

It’s a gripping drama, enjoying it.

You can add me to #ferozisOTT group😆. I can’t even hear his dialogues. I need subtitles for him. I don’t know who died and taught him low voice is sexy. I’m not saying he’s bad actor, we have a few bad actors, but he’s not all that IMO. But this group loves him so 😃

The icing on the cake would have been when Dua leaves to pray her Isha prayer, asks Mustajab, the direction of Qibla🤣. And this was the night for the sleezy Hugh Hefner robe, why was he still in his sherwani?🤣

🤣 hai na. When he said “you scared me” I was like “dude that’s how a teenage american girl says it on tiktok”. I agree he is actually a decent actor, I really liked him in his previous work including that recent telefilm, busss yehi valla thoda OTT hai.

I frankly do think they have written him sleazy and not sexy. Ki navel tak khuli robe pehna hai and say lines like jab mai Tumhare saath hota hun, Pata bhi nahi ki Mai Kia keh raha hun…Kyu bhai? Tum aisi kya chiz phuk rahe ho?!?!

Add me to the list too🤣 I loved him in ishquia, that's where it all started ..khani..kam3..but here , his accent is so fking annoying 🤢 I have to put on the subtitles as well..as for his dressing , it's too much of fizool ka skin show which is uncomfortable to watch 🤪 his robes r maha bakwas and cheap. Other than that , I am loving the show , it's characters and I really hope it's not about who is better but finding a middle way.. I hope dua doesn't die. Coz that's a done to death trope to change people.🤔

Episode 7

This was a great episode, this show is full surprises, the moment I believe that an episode cannot be better than the previous one, boom they prove me wrong, hats off to the director here, the direction is so good that every scene looks important, nothing has been filler till now and every scene feels like a dot that connects with another one in the next episode.

Mustajab-Shakila

Well, as much as I cannot fathom the fact that Shakila deliberately pushes her son towards lies and deceit continuously, I really like this duo, for some reason every time they converse, my gut wrenches and I feel like they will reveal something shocking. What I liked here was she vehemently reminds Mustajab that probably lack of her motherly affection and time must have pushed him into a life which she scares her, and boy the confidence with which Mustajab asks her that 'Do I lack something'? .. Why did Shakila and Mustajab's exchange of eye locks and then her 'No.. My son is the best', make me feel that Shakila is immensely guilty for something that might have happened with Mustajab? Ohh God, I just hope she has not seen him murder someone and hidden it, if he is a clinical case (which he looks like), this is worst kind of parenting, this has so much lesson for every parent that please give your children time, especially if they do not have a father and no siblings, do not ruin them by being blind in their affection.

I loved how Mustajab reflects that Dua does not care about him much (which I feel is right as till now we have not seen Dua thinking much about him except his religious beliefs) and no matter what, he will meet her and patch up with her, LMAO, he thinks he is the dominant one, while from where I see Dua is the dominant one, he cannot even sleep thinking that she is angry at him 🤪

Dua-Imam

Again a well executed conversation, Dua visiting him for things bothering her and the Imam assuring her that belief in Allah can always be restored, it is not in anyone's control but it exists by default, you just need to go through a phase. This conversation also indicates that the plot is moving towards Mustajab discovering faith in his religion and possible spirituality, I beg the makers do not disappoint us after such an organic and convincing buildup.

Dua-Mustajab

I like how almost 80% of the episode has our lead pair and I do not complain, it is more intriguing if the plot dissects the lead pair's thoughts and their character arc more. This show is doing that very well.

I do not know how to reflect on the fact that even without having any information, Mustajab figures out and picks up Dua from the mosque, that conversation was beautiful, it is like he just knows the woman he loves/obsesses really well and all he says her is that she is like the light in his darkness and unlike what I felt in the initial episodes, this time Mustajab sounded genuine, like he means it when he says that his selfish and egoistic self becomes all messed up whenever Dua is in front of him, kya mohabbat aise bhi ho sakti hai? Or is it because he probably has never experienced this kind of love ever and Dua's simplicity and spirituality heightens his actions and emotions to an extent that he cannot control himself?

Their conversation in the car was so cute, Dua behaves like a typical angry wife and Mustajab kaan pakakrke sorry boldeta hai, honestly such scenes give me so much hope that against every odd, their might be a happy ending and he might not end up with khaak, but i do not wnat to expect

The dining table scene, can I just say this was the most genuine moment both Dua and Mustajab shared till now? From declaring her love/trust on him by saying that his past cannot affect her as long as their future is knit together, till Mustajab's confession that yes out of emotions he made a fake promise and now when he thinks about a life without her, he sees only emptiness and he wants her support in exploring a world of love and togetherness. Mustajab surrendering that no matter if Dua is lucky or not, but he is the luckiest one to have her is again what made this conversation so subtly beautiful. I mean hardly we see lead couples talk their heart out with so much dedication and honesty, and Dua's moist eyes at his words, I could say that she felt his emotions here. And here Mustajab was completely honest, I did not feel he was pretending or anything.

The infamous heart attack

I cannot blame Mustajab for being crazy if his mother is the queen of being manipulations 🤣..It was funny because Mustajab himself did not know she was faking it and he was genuinely scared and the moment she talks about death, Mustajab is like 'ssshhh' (Feroze was so good here) and he was on the verge of screaming at her unless he saw her smile at him and figured out that it was a ploy. I do not know why I was laughing at this 🤪. Next time if she has a real heart attack, will Mustajab believe it? I really wnat to see it 🤣

The Suhagraat and mohabbat ka vaada

First of all can i say that Feroze-Sana has the best chemistry in PTV? I mean they do not even need to exchange dialogues, the way he looks at her is enough to melt a whole population. The way they steal each other's glances and that slight hand hold in the stage was so beautiful❤️, it gave a vibe of those first love moments which everyone goes through some point.

Then comes the twirl in their room, again so aesthetically done, this could look cheesy but here it just looked like ek dusre ke saath ho toh mohabbat mei insaan hawa mei bhi urte hai and then comes the promise, them promising each other to not part ways and trust each other, as much as I wanted to drown in the beauty of that whole promise, I knew that this indicates an impending tragedy and the way Mustajab asks that 'vaada karo koi nahi ayega humare beech', why do I feel Dua's death is his ultimate punishment, God will come in between them? Please makers punish him all you wnat but not this way, . I am scared and excited how the plot unfolds but now I can only predict that Mustajab's past might cause a big feud and Dua's promise might not be fulfilled, whatever it is it will end at his destruction and his tragedy.

Dua going for prayers and Mustajab's reaction on it was hilarious, like suhagraat ke promises ke beech uthke chaligayi, and not only that, she rightfully reminds him that he promised to not come in between her and her faith, LMAO, Mustajab in his head was like 'WTF is this now'? Dua is simple but she is sassy and stubborn in her own ways, she does things only if she wants, and no wonder Mustajab is obsessed with her, she is exactly like him, just with more ethics and more compassion, both are the two sides of the same coin.

The OST of Asim is really good, they played the full version today and it has a reference to Heer-Ranjha, only if Geo would release this OST too instead of driving us crazy with infinite songs and promos of Ruposh.

Kudos to the performances, both Feroze and Sana doing an amazing job, The subject is so bold and the character of Mustajab is so complicated that it is easy to point out flaws but one cannot deny the performance by Feroze and the efforts by the director. I agree with both SH and Fuchsia that Feroze and Sana has lifted up the script to another level, both look like their characters, you do not see Mir Hadi or Khaani, it is all Mustajab and Dua and kudos to the director for maintaining an amazing pace, Allah ke vaaste drag na kare for views please, views already hai bohot, baksh de humko from any kind of dragging.
