For the first time Karan has responded to a message saying keep watching TSBTSP. This was nice of him Atleast he knows fans demands and maybe trying to save the show to.

I have seen Karan many times responding to msgs specifically praising him. Not the first time. I don’t think it’s for the show necessarily.

I wish both Ishita and Karan promoted Anjol more. I know for a fact that the crazy tiktok videos are ishita’s ideas because she has always made them. I want to see more effort from Karan’s side for Anjol as well. Not just for Anurag. And tbh I find the vibe between them very formal in interviews. I mean Ishita and Karan Sharma from SSK shared a more friendly vibe in the BTS from new year’s than Ishita and Karan Suchak. I know he is an introvert but I have seen his insta and youtube blogs and he can be outgoing if he wants to be. No offence just my opinion.

I just feel Ishita and KS have never really bonded as friends. But they are professionals and know their work. It’s just that Anjol scenes tend to have a certain barrier that both haven’t managed to cross and it shows.

Yes I saw it yesterday too and was kinda surprised.

He responded 2 weeks ago too on one on Instagram...when the MU was abt to clear up.

I think they also might be fed up with the useless twists and turns, but neither can they say much nor do much. Must be boring for them too to enact the same crap day in day out without getting somewhere

Yes that one and I am sure they are to. If fans are not liking it then how can they. We can skip or just talk about it they cannot even do that. This show is their bread butter

Fans have been making suggestions to his wife Nandita to get him more active on SM and promote the show on SM. Plus since Ishita recovered and came back full time the whole cast has been more active in promoting the show.

He was not that active on SM before as he said also in an interview that he would rather be recognised for his acting work and not for SM followers. Plus another thing that many fans have noticed is that he followed Preeti Chaudhary but not Ishita but they do interact on SM.

It is I believe Ishita who has brought back life to the show and promotion of show as well. Because her BTS reels are the ones in circulation the most followed by Sneha Raikar and Patrali is also doing her bit. Vaibhavi Mahajan mostly posts her own pics.

Ishita has rejuvenated the attention towards the show on SM specially Instagram. Karan I think is following her lead but I do think he is not that comfortable with all the BTS yet.

Bold: I agree with his statement. I remember Barun Sobti said the same thing a hundred times in different interviews too. I also feel fans should not look towards the cast for taking initiatives for PR and media coverage (although they’ll need to be a part of it when PH makes PR plans)- this is something the production house needs to be doing which they’ve never done, and the cast are here to act

But I also understand that in Bollywood and in Hindi media in general, the culture is that actors go to great lengths to promote their movies and shows. In Malayalam cinema the culture is a bit different- it is less focused on actors doing the PR work (top stars like Fahad Fazil are really media shy, hardly talk in interviews, Fahad does not even have social media etc). However their acting ability is phenomenal and the story choices are great so it anyway does pull in massive audiences, and I guess acting and story is what makes or breaks the deal anyway. So, for me, I find it a little nonsensical to ponder so much about the cast promoting it

Also this is a daily soap, so asides long work hours, fans keeping an expectation on them to promote it (which they’ll have to do constantly) is a little unfair on actors no?

I do appreciate the effort of the cast in this show like Ishita to promote it, but I wouldn’t really care if they didn’t, and would instead think what the heck are the guys at PH doing. But then again I get why fans keep wanting this- people always want to see more of their favorite actors and how they are and all the BTS fun which is enjoyable

I completely agree with this observation. I feel like Karan’s wife is very involved with TSBTSP fans and I believe she is the one giving him all the feedback and guiding him. I find this a bit strange tbh. And to engage with the fans regarding whether the show is going off air or not. She isn’t part of the team she shouldn’t be telling them anything.

Ishita has always been the set’s sweat heart. Pearl was the biggest star on BPP set but she was everyone’s darling. She is just too friendly and crazy and I don’t know one person she hasn’t gotten along with in her previous 3 shows. Even with KS and the actress playing priyanka she is the one who broke the ice by getting them involved in her crazy antics. Priyanka I have always found too self impressed and trying very hard to set up the parallel lead narrative with Ishita. I find her a bit insecure. Again just my observation. Could be 100% wrong. Karan seems like a good guy but I am sorry I do think he is under the impression that he is the all and all in TSBTSP and is kind of cold in interviews.

The biggest hit shows and jodis have been the ones with the best BTS promotions. So I think if someone doesn’t do it in today’s day and age of SM, it’s their loss not the audiences’.

Barun Sobti was extremely active in promoting Arshi along with Sanaya Irani, even if he was otherwise not active on SM.
