Sada will come and kidnap Sai, but Virat will be drowning in the dukh of losing a zimmedaari, so he wont pay a heed. Sai being a superwoman, will save herself from Sada's clutches. Virat will now realise that as he has no current zimmedaari with him, so he can get back to his old zimmedaari, and will start feeling bad for Sai. Sai will reject him, so he will again start his aansu ki tanki, and his ganga jamuna will continue flowing with full force.

Serial khatam👍🏼 As the title suggested, Virat is ghum in searching for pyaar, the pyaar here being a new zimmedaari. He will become a zimmedaari vendor, as written by nikita05 in her previous OS

How about traitor Virat going to jail with his naxalite zimmedaari Shruti (Shruti can't die after undergoing surgery by multi-talented sai)...kyunki vaada kiya hai vaada nibhaaunga and both sentenced to life imprisonment...they have ample amount of time to discuss about sada, saahas, sai, their mahaanta, everything.

I think Sai as a character is the perfect example how society always sets the bar of ideal woman without actually giving us the space to make decisions for ourself. Originally it was women that stayed in kitchen that were ideal, now superwomen who can manage both the worlds are expected and it's very unfair that the ideal too is a bar on women. Because it's still not our choice.

Sai's character gains complete validation by patriarchal thought, because she's still subconsciously being made to abide by what they want.

I admire her character arc. It's unique but if the very latent patriarchal notions aren't observed and slammed down we'll be taken on the same ride that all the saas-bahu serials have been taking us

I agree, there might actually be so many girls like Sai, who are somehow managing to strike a balance between their ambitions and family life. The patriarchal society has set the bars way too high for girls, especially the ones who are working hard to pursue their ambitions and are not restricting themselves to their household.

In the serial itself we see, the family has less expectations from Pakhi, a girl who chose to leave her career and decided to become an ideal 96k housewife. Karishma is ill treated because she is not 96k, but the expectation are still lower than Sai, as she is being a housewife and doing all the household chores. Then comes Sai, she is not from a 96k family, nor a girl of their liking, neither does she bend in front of them by abiding to all their "rules", nor is she a housewife they want, she is going against their family "rules" and chasing her dreams as well. And because of that, they have sky rocketing expectations from her. They want a chiraag from her, they want her to put up with her hubby dearest's kaands, they want her to do the most laborous work, while the other two get a leeway from this, even when they were married earlier than Sai.

I dont know if I have placed my point properly here , the above paragraph looks cluttered afI typed it in a hurry😛

Despite having zero expectations, I feel boggled as a person who has brains, mad as a student who is working everyday to get a good college and have a great career in the future and irritated as an ex-viewer as the makers are successfully killing it (by ‘it’, I mean logic😆)

I just noticed that you changed your profile picture from SaiRat to Aaba and Sai

What is 96k? I assume it's a classiest categorization. Your point is very well explained actually, I can say as a person who spent their first semester learning how to explain things..

It's so heartbreaking to see how patriarchy is reflected. See not every woman is described as strong. A character is given the strong title when she suffers and fights instead of walking out and putting herself first. It's as if putting oneself first is never a choice offered to women.

We all know that the show where it actually happened is no 1. It blows my mind and gives me some hope..

I would have loved if Sai challenged not to follow the rules of the house and did not work at all, she tried to be a rebel at various times only to fulfill clan's expectations. I know it might not be possible since her husband was not on her side many times still. She is different in the way that she is expressive and does not cry much...is practical and not that mahaan but still is mahaan...she has been tolerating her husband and his family's antics since the beginning... A different patriarchal woman...not an abla naari, still in that bracket only.

96k means shahanauv(96) kuli, you would have heard Bhavani mentioning the word many times.

It translates to 96 clans of Marathas, they used to be rich landlords and were of the elite status.

I dont know much about it, any marathi can correct me if I am wrong somewhere.

96k is casteist connotation.

It's a sub category of Maratha caste who are perceived superior than other marathas..

It's Shahanyav kuli.. Shahnyav is 96 and Kul is family in larger context (meaning an extended one with a common ancestor). If i am not wrong, these 96 families are supposed to have originated from Shivaji Maharaj's noble men.

Also.. I might get reported for this but the whole BK opposing Sai and Pulkit because they are not 96K seems absurd. Because both Joshi and Deshpande are Brahmin surnames. Anyone who is aware of casteism in our society will understand what this means.

Not supporting any casteism or any such idea, this is just for information. Sorry if it hurts anyone.

She did the household chores because she was living in that house, she had mentioned the same to Vieat in the initial days of marriage. I dont exactly remember the dialogues, but it was like Ab main aapke ghar main rehti hu, toh badle main ghar ke kuch kaam bhi karti hu. Main nahi chahti ki aapki family mujhe ehsaan faeamosh bulaaye.

Sai should have lived in the hostel since the time she stepped in Nagpur. Sai would have been living a better life that way
