Lol. A lot of us are sitting through this crap of a story and watching it is only because, we are slightly obsessed with HC. @Harshadfan21 So, you see how much we value Harshad for being able tolerate Abhimanyu. But frustration and sense has to be shown somewhere.

Indian shows don’t include sex as part of a normal romantic relationship. American shows have couples jumping straight from a first kiss into bed. When I first started watching Indian tv shows 5-6 years ago, I found the chasteness refreshing but now it just seems unnatural and unrealistic. One of things that royally annoyed me about the last half of BP was Aditya running around begging his wife for a KISS. I mean, Zoya was not some blushing virgin (I assume!), they’re madly in love and she won’t kiss her husband! Wtf? Nevertheless, Jenna has done a lip lock and Harshad did a neck nuzzle in Humsafars. The team could have concentrated on giving what the viewers wanted.

Coming to ITV, the producers and the channel think that trp audiences are some bunch of aunts who hate intimate scenes. However DKP is 10 steps ahead than other producers. They give loads of romance for their younger set of audiences. I followed a show called Pratigya.

It was co produced by Rajan and his ex wife Pearl. The story had a rural background but the romantic scenes were executed well.

unfortunately in Yrkkh the leads are only dreaming.

I'm already dealing with a possessive a$$. Trust me these good lukin hot guys are a pain. I'm suffering now🤣

Exactly! We’re just blowing off steam. Watch some of Harshad’s recent interviews - he himself makes fun of Abhi and the other characters. We all love HC here - I would happily watch a version of YRKKH which was just all his scenes spliced together😆

Yeah it was so silly - you get a husband like Aditya Hooda, you shove him into the bedroom, lock the door and don’t come out for a month! That’s the realistic scenario 🤣

I get that historically Indian movies and tv shows rarely show kissing on the lips but some of the stuff that’s shown is so much more vulgar. I remember sitting in an Indian restaurant in New Jersey about 10 years ago with my family and this giant screen showing a Bolly movie dance number where the couple is basically dry humping to music 🤢
A kiss can be so pure and beautiful - especially the way they did it in some of the old Hollywood classics

It's ok guys I understand. This is his first show I am watching and I was blown away by his acting. But i get it's Writers and I am not hoping for any best too in the future. Because of top 5 trp game, his character might just get more butchered.

Seriously I been watching HC since Kis Desh so that’s like 13-14 years and if you back and see my posts I made fun of Prem and Heer too. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Exactly that is what Zoya should have done. I mean a hot blooded Alpha Gamma Male is at your disposal and she ends up playing musical chairs.

Those pelvic thrusts dance moves belonged to Govinda. It is damn vulgar and obscene.

I hope HC is comfortable with intimate scenes. He has often told that he has refused web shows because the script had unnecessary sex scenes coupled with violence.

Do yourself a favor and watch him in Bepannah if you can - his character is so complex and flawed and the story is beautifully developed till about 3/4 of the way (last 30 episodes are kinda meh). HC just blows everyone else out of the water with his performance. In Humsafars his acting is a little stilted in places but he looks gorgeous with his natural eye color. The story also sort of loses steam about halfway and become silly but it’s a unique role that suited him, so it’s worth the watch in my opinion.

They showed kissing in only Bade Ache Lagta Hai
