only Shruti 1 ke time Divorce drama hua, shruti 2 ke time she came back with endstage cancer and Sai was pregnant but Virat babu obviously was focused on the dying Shruti who had no one except him... He had major fights with Sai when she was pregnant over his behavior but he scolds Sai and ultimately misses his own baby's delivery and was more attached to shruti's kid than his own daughter the whole time. Sai gets so pissed that she left with her baby and went to a village to do her internship posting there. At some point Shruti during one of her tracks she even confesses to both Sai and Virat that she does indeed have feelings for Virat but it makes no difference to virat because he is mahaan, pavitra guy with no ill intention towards any woman. When Sai of KD moves away to the village, he follows her there WITH Shruti, still living with Shruti, but Shruti dies and her dying wish I think is that Sairat reconcile. Then eventually Virat plays savior again in KD and there's a bunch of drama where Virat finally regrets missing the delivery and not being there for Sai and also helps Sai when she gets arrested on fake charges as she finds herself accused of medical negligence by evil hospital staff engaged in organ trafficking racket. Once the case ends and Sai walks out after her acquittal, ultimately they reconcile again. but then Shruti is dead so they make PP becomes his next zimmedari thanks to Samrat's death and this time Sai of KD leaves him for good. And they reconcile 5 years or so later when PP decides to be mahaan. Even then she lets everyone believe that SHE is infact getting married to virat until plot twist happens and she discloses that Virat has only loved Sai, he is so mahaan. Everyone repents and happy ending.
