I think Aksu even says something like that to Abhi when he takes her to Birla house to confess her love. That if he can interpret her actions to mean requited love just because he loves her, why should he be so surprised that when Aarohi interpreted his actions as love because she loves him.
(altho it doesnt bode well for Aarohi's professional contacts that she interprets a handshake as a declaration of attraction🤣 but Akshu had a point there...)
