My review on Indian Shark Tank: I was really afraid that they will make it as another sob story reality show where they do fake crying, sad stpry of contestant and all nonsense but I am so glad that did not happen. They obviously dumbed down to make it appealing for common ppl in India. Thats okay. Sharks were actually better than what it looked in promos. I liked how they gave background infor of all sharks. Contestants in first episode were good, But everything looked a bit reheared. I am really looking forward to next episode. I hope it growns on me

They're keeping both channels separate I think, but it would be fun to have a Zony or a Sonee channel if they wanted to! 😛

Or maybe they'll turn Sony into a complete non-fiction channel (they've even bought Masterchef from Star apparently) and Zee the fully fiction one?

Btw, Zindagi mere Ghar Aana (SAAKK's replacement on Sitara) has been axed too.

Did TRP's around the 1.0-1.1 range- not good enough for Star. Reportedly offered the 5.30 slot, but the makers declined (in SP parlance, accepting it means curtains in a few weeks anyway- see ANNS and MHRW for example)

I just watched a couple of recent episodes, and it gave me the vibe of a Sony-style serial, but that lack of tadka drama is probably what cost it in the TRP race.

Disappointing!
