An update to my Tere Bin journey -- y'all I'm stuck at epi 15-ish 😭

Nandini gives me major K vibes - like the "pyaar mein pagal" which I guess she is considering her bestie/roommate is her psychiatrist. I've already mentioned my issues with all that.

Also, watching Kabir Singh today (I had only seen clips before) reminds me why I like the way Anuj is being written. While he is fully in love with Anupama (despite it seeming as if he kept the vision of college Anu in his heart for 26 years) - he still got to know her and interacts with her. Kabir Singh disturbed me and honestly there was NO convo btwn ML & FL. I had no idea why they even where in love other than strong physical attraction 😆

I know KS was a major film, the music is good! but the story line felt all over the place & a bit trite. The characters left much to be desired, too. The depth seemed to be missing and "shock value " scenes seemed to dominate.

Oh yes,I am still failing to understand how that movie became such a hit🤪

I didn’t mean to rant 😆 but like there’s that type of obsessive love and then there’s worshipping & uplifting love (Anuj). Anuj is human so he’ll err but he doesn’t seem like he’d disrespect anyone in the name of love. As an aside, no one lives up to their names. You can’t tell me someone name Ganesh is jolly and auspicious all the time. Or someone named Kiran feels like a ray of sunshine everyday. Anuj has always been honest with Anu but a tad afraid of losing her. His issue has always been timing — every time it’s seemed as if he’s not lived up to MaAn potential has purely been due to his overly cautious nature and poor timing 😆
