I want to start this topic by acknowledging that I am also judging myself for being too invested in this show and questioning my basic intelligence as I am writing this topic. I am solely writing this post from Abhimanyu's POV. I am not justifying some of his actions because I disagree with his methods, but in this post, I am only trying to see the emotion and not logic because he is a man in love. And love is everything but logical, and so is ITV.
Let's go two episodes back to what Abhi heard Akshara say to Kairav? The three key things Askhara told Kairav that have brought this onslaught for us.
1-"Marriage is not just about two individuals for her but about two families, and after what happened at Tilak, these families will never see eye to eye."
2- "Aarohi is for Abhimanyu. They are a perfect match."
3- "She has moved on from Abhimanyu."
The moral of today's episode, this arranged marriage alliance, is Abhimanyu's way of testing her claims. We all think that is because Manjiri, Abhi has agreed to marry Aarohi, but I'm afraid I disagree. It is because of Akshara. He is, as usual, giving her what she wants, but he has also declared war on her. He is doing exactly what she wants, and by doing so, he is showing her how wrong she is in her judgments.
Now, coming back to today's episode. While the entire family fought like cats and dogs, Akshara sensed him and turned to see him. At that moment, when he is standing in the doorway alone, he is a man on a mission. His expression is neutral.
He walks past both sisters. One sister, whom he loves with every fiber of his existence. And other he now supposedly intends to marry. Yet, he did not spare them a single glance. Instead, he went to Manish and said the most important lines of this episode. These lines set the rest of the episode up and the future track if you pay attention.
"Maine aapko bataya tha na, jo hoon, jaisa hoon, aapke saamne hoon. Andar se kuch aur, bahar se kuch aur aisa nahi hoon main,"
First, this is a dig at Akshara. She feels something else and says something else. She loves him but always rejects him in front of others. It was a plain and straightforward taunt. He is calling her out in front of everyone. Second, it's a declaration that he will mean what he says going forward. So everyone should pay attention to what he says next as he has chosen his words very carefully in this episode. All the dialogues in this episode were carefully worded.
"Kuch din pehle kuch aur maan raha tha aur ab kuch aur maang raha hai. Waqt waqt ki baat hai. Tab main pyaar maang raha tha, aaj main rishta maang raha hoon"
He addressed the elephant in the room head-on. I am calling it right now. Dr. Abhimanyu Birla has zero intention of going through this wedding with Aarohi. Rishta laya hai, to show Akshara. So here is the answer to the million dollar question, Why pick the sister of the girl he loves to move on with? Why does moving on mean marrying someone else?
Answer: He has not moved on. He had overhead Akshara saying that Aarohi is perfect for Abhimanyu. This Rishta is an answer to that. Now he will make Akshara watch what she blatantly claimed without realizing the consequences.
When Kairav questioned his intentions, he already had an answer ready.
"Kyunki yeh ek arrange marriage hai, yahan pyaar nahin saath nibhane ka intention zyada zaroori hai. Sabki Marzi zaroori hai, sabki Khushiyaan zaroori hai, poore parivaar ko saath lekar chalne ki zimmedaari zaroori hai. Apni zimmedariyon ko khush rakhne ki zimmedaari zaroori hai,"
Isn't this dialogue what Akshara did. She put love last, her family and their happiness first. She wanted to move ahead with her family, which is why she was quiet on Tilak day. Aarohi is her responsibility, so she keeps her happy by rejecting Abhimanyu. He is simply following Akshara's footsteps and putting her through the same pain that he is feeling. Why should he suffer alone? Abhimanyu also pointed out that Akshara never stood by his side. She had no faith in him, so her intention was never to be with him. Taunt number 2.
When Manish agreed to the alliance, Abhimanyu staggered back a little. He was subconsciously hoping Manish to say no so that he did not have to go through this plan. Deep down, he knows that he is wrong, but I don't think Abhimanyu cares. He sees Aarohi for who she is and uses her to get what he wants. Knowing that part of rejection is Aarohi, he has no sympathies left for her, and he is not making any false promises to her.
He watches Akshara all through the tilak. Then, when she volunteers to get Mithai, his eyes throw an accusation at her and follow her. After all the heart wants what it wants.
In the kitchen, he gives her Methidaana. It is something that they both share a lot of memories of. He is now testing her claims to have moved on from him. Something I believe he will keep on doing until she breaks.
And then happened the Mithai Attack by Dr. Abimanyu Birla. Akshara stops him" Abhi bas karo, Abhi...Abhi.. Just Stop it Dr Abhimanyu Birla."
And then he stops and says, "Ab hua na bass, yeh hua na bass."
He had once said that only selected people can call him Abhi for everyone else he is Abhimanyu. He wanted to make that distinction that she has lost the right to call him "Abhi." Another hurt hurled at her. Taunt number 3.
In the end the man leaves the kitchen singing,"Le Jaayange Le jaayange, Dilwale Dulhania le jaayenge,"
Abhimanyu made his intentions clear. He is here for Akshara. He wanted access to her world and Tilak today gave that to him. He will slowly but surely show her how all her reasons for rejecting him were baseless. He has taken his destiny into his own hands. The man is on the warpath. He is fighting his love for her love. Akshara needs a wake-up call and Abhimanyu is hell bent on giving her one.
Now that I have written this super lengthy post, when I could have been writing my TS, what are your thoughts on my Khayali pulaos. Also, watch the writers show something even more stupid in the next episode and make my analysis go down the drain.
Love,
Blues.
